The super-limited pixel art style is really well done! I especially like the water tiles. I wonder if the resolution was supposed to be larger? Since when catching bugs/fish it is super zoomed in. I also noticed that when the player turns left/right, the whole sprite moves over. I suspect the solution to that is to change the Anchor Point/center of the hitbox to be the same as the center of the sprite. I enjoyed the bug catching mechanic a lot. Nice work!

This has to be one of the most inventive submissions I saw! Bug hunting in a gamedev way, really nice. This is such a cool concept but I felt like I lacked a goal, and mail doesn't even increase legendary odds, no? Maybe there could be a legendary super-bug that you have to catch to win the game, or something like that.

The aesthetic was really nice, I liked the glow, but text was barely readable.

Also, did you think about making the player's hitbox a circle instead of a square? It was a little annoying to get stuck on corners.

The hitboxes are a bit weird. I also sometimes press space in the catching cutscene and nothing happens. Cool artstyle and interpretation of theme tho!

I had this issue too and I have no idea why this happens :(

Really like the art! Overall pretty fun game!

The art style for this is great, kind of combining nature with electricity with a retro aesthetic. I found that I was wandering around quite a bit waiting for a bug to pop up - not sure if I was meant to trigger them somehow? Nice interpretation of the theme.

Catching bugs, phishing, cool graphics, this game has it all! I like the retro sorta vibe you've got going here, I really enjoyed looking at it. All in all, just a chill bug-hunting game, and I really enjoyed playing it. Good job on your submission breadslice!

I like the cute artstyle. The hitboxes are a bit weird, making it kinda hard to maneuver around and catch bugs.

Anyways I love the concept and all the different types of bugs. Congrats on your entry!
