Really enjoyed this one! The gameplay loop is very addicting. Legitimately gasped aloud when a cat came in from offscreen to chase me. Jumpscare! My highscore was Dog. As you get further in, it starts running out of Cherries and smaller animals for you to eat, so it's a bit empty. But most of the time I died before it got to that point. Also, as others have said, you should go into the settings on the upload page on Itch and enable the Fullscreen button. That should help the resolution issues. Great work!

Good job on your first game! I didn't understand why I kept stopping randomly, then realized it was because of the stamina. The stamina made me think more about my movements when close to a lot of bigger animals.

Great job for your first ever game! For some reason I found it hilarious being chased by such a friendly-looking cow 😄 Some sound effects would really help bring this game to life I think. Hope you continue to enter jams!

Like the others have mentioned, there seems to be a resolution issue with the game. But I like the concept! I think for improvements a clearer indication of the stamina would be nice (or even remove it, I don't really saw the point of it) and some audio is always nice too of course.

But the scrolling worked well and I had fun trying to get as far as possible! I managed to reach the rooster

Fun game but had the same problem like Orphic Dreaming. Also the game started glitching and eventually crashed when I turned into the squirrel.

I really want to try this game, it looks like a fun concept.
It is currently really hard to see what's going on because the screen is clipping really close the the player (it looks bigger in the screenshots). I think all you need to do is enable "Fullscreen Button" in the edit game settings to fix it 😊
