- Well packaged game. I like the music and the audio, I liked how there's a change of perspective mid level. Was nice.

Alone

Everything was created by myself. Some of the movement code was made with the help of ChatGPT to assist with vector math. It was only used as an assistance tool, no scripts were entirely made with it and they were modified afterwards.

This was a great game! Awesome that you did all this on your own! A lot of talent here.
Thank you so much!
Awesome game, I loved the subtle details, giving the game more personality (things like the transition from top down to side view).
The music was super good. Good work!
Thank youuu!
Prertty fun game, I agree with the other comments that the music is a bop! Had fun playing it even though I'm bad at maneuvering around

Thank you!!
Excellent game! The music is great! I love the multiple stages to the gameplay, make the infinite runner loop more interesting. Plus the treasure finding is a great theme implementation! Great job!
Thank you kindly!!
The music is amazing! I'm surprised I liked this game since I'm not in to anything Vehicle related but I had fun!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it
Some of the best music I’ve heard in the jam, think some movement in the background would really give it a flying through space feel. And the switching from the “top down view” to the “side view” was pretty cool.
Thank you! Yeah that's fair, I tried to do that but couldn't get it to work on time unfortunately
Really like the music and somehow it has the menu with the best feel of the entries I player so far hahaha
I enjoyed the treasure collecting part, but just when it started to get a bit repetitive the space pirates attacked for a really nice change of pace. I really liked that moment.
Sadly when after the space pirate section the second level started the game seemed bugged. The space ship didn't pick up any more treasure.
Thank you! Dang...you're the second person now that has reported that bug and I can't seem to recreate it myself...can I ask what browser you played the game in?
Firefox 138.0.1 (64-bit) on Ubuntu. I tried a second time and didn't get the bug again.
Now that I could play more levels I think your game has nice difficulty scaling. It starts easy and gets more difficult over time. (I think you did this way better than me and also many other entries I played) I would just like the difficulty to scale a bit more quickly e.g. exponential growth of pirates
I'm glad it worked for you the second time. Yea the difficulty scaling is something I wish I spent more time on fine-tuning, thank you again!
Very cool plot, I wasn't expecting that :) The gameplay was fun and the music is good; overall, a very solid game! One small note: I would have liked some kind of parallax effect for a more realistic space feel. But apart that, very nice game!
Thank you very much! Yeah I tried to do like to make it seem like a scrolling skybox but that required complex shader coding which I'm not experienced with yet 😂
haha, no worries, I wouldn't know how to scroll a skybox either 😂
Such a fun arcade style game! The colours seem a bit muted on the different treasure items, but it seems to fit more with the PS2 aesthetic. Did you create the fonts too?
Thank you! Yeah I kinda had to rush the models to get everything done so I didn't spend a lot of time on them. The font is Airstrike, I got it from dafont.com!
Oh cool! Keep up the good work :)
Good game i enjoyed it , really addicting my only complain is that the movement was far too slippery .
Thank you! That's fair, it's meant to feel like a spaceship so I tried to make it feel smooth but I understand it's not for everyone!
Very fun game! Well done!
Thank you!
This game is sick! uber fun gameplay and great music
Thanks a lot!!
Really fun game with some cool ideas! I especially loved the concept of your ship getting slower the more treasure you gather, I thought that was pretty neat. The perspective changing after the player switches modes was also pretty spiffy too! Overall, just a really solid submission that I had a good time playing. Great job!
Thank you very much!
I really like the sound effects and music! The "level complete" noises were very satisfying. Neat game :)
Thank youu, I had fun making them :)
Fun Game To Be Honest!, Great UI Designing, Good Sound Design, And banging Music, It was super cool
About the Gameplay, Initially I thought it was just another space shooter, but i definitely did not expect fun without shooting, Cool concept. I managed to get to level 4, and man it was so fun, I was focused totally.
Had fun playing it!!
Thank you kindly!
Thank you for your kind words, I'm glad you enjoyed it and will eagerly wait to see if you can beat your highscore! I wasn't too satisfied with the difficulty curve myself so I'm happy to hear that you liked it!
Very nice!!
I really enjoyed the music for this game and the pirate mechanic was a fun twist/surprise! I did encounter a slight bug when my ship was below the treasure in Level 2 so I couldn’t pick anything up. But this is a solid game. I really enjoyed this one!
Hm that's weird, I haven't encountered that bug. I must've overlooked something 🤔 But thank you for playing and for the kind words!
Hey wanted to do a follow up since there's been a 2nd person to report the bug you had, what browser did you use to play?
I used Microsoft Edge!
Hmm odd, I tested it in Edge and worked fine for me despite it being a bit more laggy so if you feel like playing again at some point I'd recommed using either Chrome or Firefox!
I really like the art style and the music! The perspective change when being chased by the pirates is really cool. The additional weight when collecting items gives a subtle challenge to handling the ship. It fits the theme well. Good job!
Thank you kindly!
