Description
You've heard tale of this infamous trench, the lives it has claimed. And yet... something draws you nearer and nearer. You descend deeper into the blackness, ignoring the wail of your submarine's alarm bells. Yet the urge to dive deeper, deeper rings louder still! But wait, what's that?!

This is great!! Incredibly eerie, gloomy vibe! Conveys the feeling of the great unknown lurking deep down the ocean's abyss mankind doesn't even know a thing about (until the foolish creature peeks into it for too long, descending into madness at 3:43 hehe) The distorted choirs work extraordinarily well, leading into the climax at the end! I love it! ^^

I really like the orchestration of this! Especially the percussion, it feels erratic which suits a horror soundtrack. The descending notes also make it feel very on-theme with a water horror ost.

love how this devolves and really starts feeling like a tense, lovecraftian boss fight. the wide range in intensity from beginning to end kept me rly intrigued. matches your description very well and really paints a picture in your head while listening,, super sick

Thanks, appreciate it. I'll make an effort to check out some of your stuff later as well :)

And uh also, it might fit into "ambient"... until the end xD

there's also something being bruited about where these Re-Ex folk sub-class a thing called Dark Ambient, so we have that list to toy with
