Simple, polished and varied, I loved it! Good job 👍

Thank you so much for trying it, and for your kind words!

Great game with different enemies and challenges! The switching platforms could be clearer and easier to jump through if they had a permanent hint of where it is placed. I enjoyed the battle with the enemy in the tank, but it is a little hard to throw the grenade in it.

Thanks for checking it out and sharing your feedback! Yup, you are absolutely right--there could be a mark indicating where blocks will appear when they do appear. As it is, you kind of have to watch them switch a couple of times and try to remember where the blocks will appear.

Awesome game! The level design was really surprising, open-ended, great enemy placement, great use of the game's mechanics to introduce twists and challenges. I really liked it.

filled to the brim with mechanics and enemies, fabulous. Just that the targets kinda looked like keys for me so for five minutes I was trying to pick up a "key" until I finally decided to shoot it(might just be my dopey brain lol). Great game gun go brt.

Thanks so much for playing, and for your kind words. Good feedback about the switches, I'll consider revising their appearance in a post-jam edition.

This reminds me of the old megaman games i had for gbc. And it is pretty hard too. And on top of that even a timer... XD. I enjoyed the level of polish and the amount of content is pretty strong for just a week. Well done!

Thank you so much for checking it out! Yes, Mega Man 2 was one of the principal inspirations. :)

Ooh loved the platforming, combat, and puzzles. It'd be perfect if there were a stronger mechanical alignment with the theme, other than just a countdown timer to beat the level. Overall, very well done!

To be honest your entry was unusually inspired. Most of us didn't get an idea that good. :)

Stellar game! lot of things here to enjoy! Got that Duke nukem 2 gameplay goin!

I did accidently jump over the last trigger at the end, got very confused when Her Majesty didn't say anything or reacted to my yeeting grenades at her.

Very full and complete game for a 7 day game jam! It reminded me of Mega Man series! I'll play it again soon!

Thanks very much! Yes, Mega Man 2 was definitely one of the major influences.

There's a lot of mechanics and content in the game — player controls, different enemies, platforming elements, etc. — that it feels like a full game. The controls remind me of Metal Slug. The art style is nice, and it's a really challenging game.

Developer

Thanks! That was one influence. Also Contra and Mega Man 2. :)
