Im surprised you can get in so much in one weeks time, the art and the quest is good. Although the controls were quite hard to understand at first until i read some of the comments on how to interact. Anyway Good Job :>
I like trash-talking with NPCs and little quirky quests going on. Unfortunately, the combat is too sluggish and basic for me to finish the game. Overall, super nicely done. It's impressive you got so many systems in.
This is by far the game i played most out of this jam so far. I liked pretty much everything about it except the visuals and the music was getting annoying real quick too. I would have loved doing the art for this one. If you ever need an artist for a 1bit jam for such a game feel free to hit me. Btw, nice spin on the theme as well :)
I'm so impressed that you built an entire RPG here, with tons of NPCs and quests. Wow!
Note that placing the response options above the NPC's dialogue means the player generally reads them first, even though they are supposed to be spoken after. So I would slightly rearrange the menu system there.
I levelled up and got some abilities, but I couldn't figure out how to use them. My guy always just wanted to use Slash.
Well that was quite a game. I don't even know where to begin. The level up system just replacing your bad attack with (sometimes) better options to be randomly selected is actually an interesting concept. A lot of the humor was good, although some was a bit... outdated. Overall I did enjoy my time with it though. The lack of punishment for losing a fight made up for the rng sometimes just forcing you to lose. This may be the hardest game for me to rate the theme of although the interpretation of it was definitely unique. Overall I did enjoy it. I think I may have gotten the bad ending though.
No idea how to play the game but I did find that if you hold right click, you can go through walls. Nice concept but with no basic controls listed it was difficult to play. You literally have no time with "no timer" I say it fits the theme.
Oh ok. You are supposed to use wasd or arrow keys to move. And either space, v, or enter to interact.
