Some hints were pretty clever! When I saw the shadow of the butterfly I was like wow.

Thankyou for playing! I think the shadow is easily my favorite butterfly :)

I think the best feedback I could give is to put some more focus into level design. Sometimes the level took away fro the experience of the game. Like the maze and butterfly placements. It ends up making the cozy game kinda stressful. Also, please fix the camera. Right now the mouse does not lock into the center of the screen which limits the player's vision. Outside of that, it was such a fun experience searching and taking photos. I always love this take!

Thanks for playing, and for your feedback! Definitely agree with all your feedback :) I ended up spending most of the jam learning 3d modelling, so didn't have much time for the level design in the end and just cobbled something together quickly. And ahh, the mouse works fine on desktop but the way the web player interacts with input events (specifically the escape key) can cause it to become unlocked. You can fix it by going into and out of the pause menu, but yeah its pretty buggy.

I got lost in the maze, felt into the water (and climbed back up like a Skyrim horse) but I collected all the butterflies, and it was fun! The photo system was on point, and it felt really satisfying to see your masterpiece show up in the journal. Great job :)

Thanks so much for playing! I was having some trouble sculpting the cave and had to give the player more range of motion, but forgot to check whether that let you fall into the water ๐Ÿ˜…. Glad you were able to find your way out ahah

OMG that took me so much longer than it should have XD I won't spoil here in case someone reads the comments before playing but I missed an obvious area to look for so long! Unfortunately it crashed as well at one point so I had to restart but got there in the end!! Really funky game, they are harder to find than I expected - which I love <3. Great work, and I love the information on the butterflies too ^_^

Thanks for playing, and persisting through a crash! I didn't think very much about optimising for web and had to make a whole bunch of changes right at the end for it to run properly. Those butterflies are indeed very pesky to spot ๐Ÿ‘€

Realy fun and original game
