ok, the game works fine for what it is. the difficulty is completely dependend on how fast your triggerfinger is. i found out, that if can hit a button up to 10 times a second you will wipe out all enemys within a couple of seconds. which is not neccesserely a bad thing, just something i noticed. sound could use a little fine tuning but otherwise it works.

Pretty fun! I like how overwhelming all of the enemy bullets feel. The music is really good, but the sounds were a bit choppy, and honestly hurt my ears a bit (It got better when there weren't as many enemies shooting). Good job!

Always awesome to play somebody's first game. A few things I would like to recommend. When you export your project, it might be easier to compress the executable into a zip file along with the pck file, so that there only needs to be one download. The jam rules allow for reuploads to fix bugs and add new ways to play as long as you don't add new things to the game. I would look into maybe adding an additional web version to play without downloading. Some people are skeptical to download games, so a web version often gets more people playing. Two last notes, The tutorial screen goes away a bit too fast to read, and the enemy killed count seems to carry over after you lose, so you can win without clearing the whole screen. Great first Godot game though, sorry for the essay.

ty! left the fast splash; fixed the enemy kill count. the .zip's a good call; I wanted to go all out on convenience so I got Godot to bundle everything into one solo file for Linux, one solo file for Windows! tested on a different computer and they ran good. what felt most urgent is to get a fully fixed game out as fast as possible; wanna have the in-browser running by at least this time tmrw

Sadly i can't play it ".pck file is missing"

Developer(+1)

ty; just uploaded the .pck as-is! sent in after time but at least the game should work now. and yeah I'll probs get a more "fixed" version out after the jam! first real shot at Godot

Tried to download the windows version but it says it needs the .pck file in order to run

Developer

ty for heads up; just uploaded the .pck as-is! no idea how votes work if entered after time but at least the game should kinda work now. may add a cleaned-up version of the game after the jam's done
