A KNOCKOUT (I did 91,763).
I had plenty of fun playing the game. It looks and sounds great and the staging is amazing, I love the 3 phases. I like the strong feedback when you get hit and while the jump and possibly overall game might feel a tiny bit more floaty than I prefer it still controls pretty well. The enemy patterns are diverse and fun to dodge and the length and difficulty are perfect for the jam.

This gives me hella cuphead vibes lmao! Very smooth character animations aswell. I suggest making the enemy hitboxes a little smaller though because it was really easy to get hit. Overall, well done!
Nice job here, I loved the art and the mechanics. However, I didn’t get pretty much where or how did you apply the unstable theme :S
A Cuphead skin for a jam is a fantastic idea! I liked visual, story, sound and gameplay. I would just suggest to avoid reducing the cheese opacity in the first phase before disabling its collision box, otherwise players would assume they can't be hit by it anymore. Overall good job ^^

It looks aesthetically fun but I feel like I can't beat the big mouse because I can't avoid the little mouse and the cheese shots at the same time. This game has a decent theme to it though.
You are right, the game is very hard. But that's the whole point!
You need to understand how the boss works and only when you learn can you defeat him quite easily! Believe me...

It feels very fun to play. However, there are some situations where attacks are undodgeable and I do not think it fits the theme at all. I do like the vibe it gives being extremely similar to cuphead.
