the shield mechanic was really interesting, loved the opening cutscene too. very fun!

Like the inclusion of a cutscene, fun game!

All of the mechanics based around the shield are super cool, and the pixel art + cutscenes are awesome! A nice-but-not-crazy-difficulty too :)

This was great! The shield mechanic was well done and you used it in some good ways!  I loved the cutscenes and the art was good too!  This was really fun and challenging -the level right before the end took me a few tries but I got lucky and got stuck at the first group of birds near the beginning and got  hit a bunch all at once and when i moved my shield it launched me waaaay up above the screen and landed at the exit to short cut the whole level.   Anyway, really awesome work on this one! :D

Shield is goated! Great job, it was fun :)

Initially got blocked by my own shield which I found weird, but then realized you can actually use it as a tool! That's such a great idea!

Good job on this one! :)

Unique mechanic with the shield, I found that very cool! I also really liked the cutscenes at the beginning and end.

Really nice 😊

I second this, very well made. Impressive to make this alone!
