5/5 across the board. Great art, sound and lovely gameloop, seriously can't wait to see more!
Thank you so much for playing <3
nice wario-ware like game with a little message that life is short, fabulous
Liked the 2-layer of time pressure. Very cute art and replayable gameplay. Nicely done!
Charming art style and bite-sized mini-games wrapped in a perfectly fitting concept — the life of a fly! Really glad I gave this one a spin. Super fun and creative! <3
:')))
Art was really great and I also loved the very well polished ui animations, they really made the whole things feel more complete! Awesome job :)
Thank you :')))
Loved the WarioWare-style minigames. It wasn't clear to me whether there was a win condition until I retried and managed to clear all the stages. Really enjoyed the fly theme and art and the aging concept!
Thank you for playing ! :))))
I just fixed the difficulty in the soccer stage. Hope it helps ! :))
Great job! I liked that I could also use my controller. It looked very clean.
Brilliant little WarioWare-style adrenaline-fest. The music is excellent, the graphics do the job, the minigames have a delightful variety (but always a fly theme). I loved how your player ages between minigames.
The "Score a Goal" game was very hard on this timer! I tried like 5+ times and couldn't score once, haha.
Glad you enjoyed it :')) I believe the ending screen is worth trying some more times, so I'm making that minigame easier and let you all know 🌟 Thank you for the feedback 🌼
Really good! I love the art and music. The minigames were a lot of fun, but the football one was a lot harder than the rest of the minigames in my opinion. I really like all of the clutter in the minigames, it adds nice challenge to navigate around, and in some of them it can make it a challenge to figure out who you are playing as which I like. The game was also pretty funny, it caught me off guard when I just suddenly collapsed and it cut to a gravestone lol. Very good game :D
I'm so happy you liked it :)) Many people are reporting how the football stage seems to hard, so I may find some solution to make it more accessible. Thank you for your feedback !
Is it possible to just give the player more time on that minigame? Or do all the minigames have to have the same length?
At first, I didn't like the idea of having a timer for every stage but since it's possible to get the ball stuck, I ultimately implemented it.
In the next hours I will defenitely make the ball less boyncy and give more time in that stage. I will keep you updated !! :))
I'm not 100% sure whether the jam rules allow updates like that during the ratings period--just make sure! :)
Fixed ! :))
I'm glad rules say:
"After the submission period is over, you can fix bugs and add new ways to play (web build or any other), but not radically change the game. "
Hahaaa, love me some pico8 game. The grandpa fly got me laughing
Reminds me as a mix of undertale and wario wars. Good level of polish and fun idea too. Win and fail sound
started/sounded very similar though. Good job nevertheless!
Loved it. The content is not a lot but I adored the presentation. I also really liked the idea of playing as an fly through all of its stages of life. I would like to see the idea expanded more, especially if it heads into a WarioWare-esq direction-
Thank you for playing <3
realy cool game
liked the idea a lot
Nice idea and well executed: good assets, nice mini game ideas. Should have been a big challenge to do so much things in less than a week! 👏
Thank youu :') Yeah, I reached my limit on friday AHAH
I got fascinated by your Tiny engine ! Do you have a Discord server where to chat with other interested developers ? :))
thanks. No, there is no such things. But feel free to try the engine and give your feedback on it here or on github :)
I read all the documentation I could find about Tiny and I'm about to watch your presentation at DroidKaigi 2025. There are many aspects that remain unclear to me, like: what are the technical constraints of Tiny ? does the project have a roadmap for future updates ? since Tiny has been built using Kotlin Multiplatform, will it be able to export games to Android and iOS in the future ?
- the roadmap is on my notepad. It’s mostly about performances, sound and poking other platforms. I might just add a method to rotate sprites
- I don’t think I will other « export » option for iOS and Android (ie: it creates the app for you). But I want to try a way to import the engine on those platforms. The main issue is to support metal. (iOS)
- the technical constraints is more about the resolution. It’s not performing well with too high resolution as some operations are iterating on each pixel on the CPU 🥲
(But it’s a fun engine to create small games, it’s like pico8 but I added what I thought was missing from it)
It's a beautiful project, congratulations ! I hope to get a better understanding of what's behind a game engine and eventually help with Tiny in the future :))
