I loved the idea! Using time as another direction to move along not only fit the theme well but also gives a brilliant gameplay. I really enjoyed crawling around this (these?) maze, starting completely lost and slowly getting more and more familiar with the layout.
Brilliant gameplay. Took maze games to the next level.
In addition great polishing aswell:) Really enjoyed ur game in the past jams
Great game:D
Great idea for the concept. It's a nice addition that each era has its own unique environment. The time travel sound effect could have been a bit quieter, it can get annoying when used over and over. It also looks like a game called Time Trade that was made in this jam. Congrats!
Excellent game! Visual presentation and music are great. And the 3D maze is fun! Or is it 4D? Only little gripe I have is that the time travel is a bit slow.
This is awesome!
My favorite game from this jam! I really enjoyed it and finished the game. How did you come up with the maze layout? Was it just trial and error?
This was all worked out on PowerPoint before hand. I started with a 7 lots of 5x5 grids where all the walls were present. Then put Tanith in the middle of the year 3000. With that layout, the only square she could access was the middle one. After that I removed a single wall on one of the years allowing her to access two spaces on every year. Then it was just a case of expanding that idea until all the spaces were accessible somehow.
