Very cool game!
Thanks so much! Glad you thought it was cool 😄
The game is really fun and has good sprites, but the gameplay is kinda just spamming space and getting feathers, and the attack isn't clear when it happens, and the bullets have a bit too much collision considering how many start to appear.
EDIT: Wait this is your first game? Oh, yeah this is great for a first game! Ofc my criticisms still apply but you don't need to worry too hard about it.
Thanks a lot for the honest feedback — totally fair points! I’ll definitely work on making the attack feel clearer and improving the bullet collisions (it does get chaotic 😅). And yep, this was my first game, so I’m glad it still came across well despite the rough edges. Really appreciate you playing and taking the time to write this!
I loved the snappy controls, and your difficulty ramp was really great! Also, the artwork was fantastic. Good job!
Thanks a bunch! Glad the controls and difficulty felt good — I tried to keep it smooth and fun. Appreciate it!
This was fun! The art was great too! Very challenging near the end -great job!! :D
Why is animal with sword always be a good concept :))
Fun games, slicing those demon bats feel good.
I hope we can get bigger sword xD
Haha, it’s true — animals with swords just hit different 😄
Glad you enjoyed slicing those demon bats! A bigger sword? Now that’s the dream — one swing to rule them all 😂
Thanks for playing!
Fun game! Really enjoyed it!
Nice game! The controls were very easy to use and get used to. I think if there were some sound effects, it would enhance the experience, but good job!
Thanks a lot! I’m glad the controls felt good to use. And you’re right — sound effects would definitely make it better. I’ll work on adding that in the future. Appreciate the feedback!
cool game , the parallax back ground was a nice touch. controls were good but I missed the audio.I really liked the color pallet and pixel art .Good job.
Thanks! Happy to hear you liked the background and art style. I’m glad the controls felt good too. You’re right about the audio — I’ll make sure to include it next time. Appreciate the feedback!
Pretty good for a first game. Audio would improve the game a lot.
Thanks! Glad you liked it. I agree — audio would make a big difference. I’ll be sure to add it in my next game!
I just saw that this is your first game, so let me start by congratulating you and offering a bit of advice. For a bullet hell game, try to keep enemies on the sides of the screen instead of placing them in the middle, as it makes it harder to see and dodge the bullets. It's better if they stay static or remain near the edges.
Good job! 😊
Thank you so much! I really appreciate the advice. That’s a great point about enemy placement — I’ll make sure to keep them more to the sides or static next time to improve visibility and dodging. Glad you played it!
Imma give some feedback since it's you first game. Difficulty could be a bit higher, You used pixel art textures, but they look a bit blurry because of the texture sampling method. Try changing it to point (or whatever point is called in ct.js). Audio is really a key aspect of games, add it next time!
Thanks a lot for the feedback! I’ll definitely work on making the game more challenging. I’ll also fix the blurry pixel art by changing the texture setting to point in ct.js. And yeah, I’ll make sure to add audio next time — totally agree it makes a big difference. Appreciate you playing my game!
You've got a fun little shoot 'em up (bird 'em up?) game here! The projectiles were challenging to dodge, and I liked how it got more intense towards the end. I'm not sure if I ran into a bug or not, but after I hit 60 seconds it seemed like the time kept counting down below 0 until I lost my last life at around -4 seconds. Thanks for making and sharing your game!
Hello! 😊 This was actually my first game, so I’m really glad you gave it a try. I'm happy to hear you had fun with it! You were absolutely right — there was a bug where the timer kept going below 0 after surviving the full minute. Thanks for spotting that and letting me know! I’ve gone ahead and fixed the issue now. Really appreciate your feedback and support! 🙌
