Use of the limitation
There's a timer in the corner, and bad things happen when it hits zero! Never been done before! Although, the timer can be refilled, and it's not an instant game-over when the timer hits 0.

I enjoyed blblasting some blrats on my play through. It didn't seem l there is any audio, but I bet even some really simple sound effects and a music track would really take your game to the next level. Thanks for making and sharing your game!

Thank you! The biggest drawback is definitely the lack of interesting, unique mechanics. That's a direct result of me trying to work with a simple, familiar idea, since this was my first jam. I appreciate the compliment on the balance; that ended up being a specific focus, and it's far from perfect but I think I dialed it in as much as I could in a couple days.

It's a classic roguelite twin stick shooter.
it's a solid base the controls are smooth but there it's not much more to said about it. Would need a gimmick to stand up more, like your bullets are made of time, like each shot consume a sec.
Funnily enough, I originally planned to add in an extra weapon type that cost time to fire. Thanks for the feedback!

My run ended when the timer was at -6. I guess that’s a bug.

Not a bug! When the timer goes negative, you enter an "overtime mode," where you move faster and do more damage, but it drains your health. Although, I don't communicate that to the player very well.
