The multiverse is safe for now.
The controller I'm generally using was not recognised but fortunately I owned another one which was.
My game was very tense as I was on the edge of death for a long time until I got to the shop for the first time. Then it turns out I had enough credits to max all the stats so from there I was a warmachine and the enemies had no chance.
The game is very smooth, the controls feel great and you made great use of the theme, switching between the different universes and navigating though their own type of bullets was super cool. The difficulty and length were perfect for my taste.
For some reasons the sound effects were very low, I had to turn my volume super high to hear them, which is really no big deal of course.
Very cool game.
I had a blast hopping between universes—what a cool twist! Don Cubencio stood out to me with those intricate bullet patterns; way more interesting than the endless homing projectiles.
That said, the shop balance felt a little wonky—I could snag almost every upgrade on my first visit and then end up staring at the timer before I could spend again. And some walls felt a bit cheap, like running right back into a perfectly tracked bullet or getting clipped just as you exit the shop.
Still, overall it’s a great time—solid concept, fun enemies
First, thankyou for taking the time to play our game! I find that your critiques are all fair and will note those as we plan to make post jam adjustments to the game. Again thankyou for playing!
Good Game, I really liked the idea of teleporting through universes, my favourite enemy was probably Don Cubencio because their bullet pattern was more involved (And didnt use those bullets that track you for a long time).
The balancing might be a bit off, almost every upgrade can be bought in the first shop visit (and had to wait for the timer to end for the second shop). Other times it feels a little bit unfair like how often the perfectly tracked bullet appear, or being hit with a bullet right after leaving the shop.
The Visuals are really nice and appealing, and the soundeffects are really nice too (even tho there arent many, e.g.: explosions, shooting, interacting, e.t.c all dont make a sound. Not a big deal, but makes the game feel a little bit empty). In general good game :D
Our the lack of certain sound effects have noted also been by our teams sound designer. Also I'll take note of the balancing quirks you mentioned. Nonetheless thankyou for trying our game!
