Has anyone upgraded a female NPC?

The game wiki mentions that it's possible to increase the build of a female NPC by training her hard while feeding her a lot. Has anyone done this? What stats or skills did you train, and for how long? Is it necessary to train her personally or can she be signed up for gym school at the academy or an educator? Thanks.

Another question I have is about the Borsow Gal quest. Where is the grave I'm supposed to take her to? I keep missing the location. TIA

go to swamp map page where fort sera is. go up to next map, tower on right and cat on left, between road and clearing you'll see the stone entrance. if slave is with you it'll highlight when you mouse over

Got it done, thank you.

One game that does this nicely (visually speaking and IMO) is Kenshi. I know not everyone will appreciate the graphics (Unreal Engine 4 is getting old, but fine by me) but if you train up your people real hard, they do beef up.

With MoR it will only work (visually) if the devs render all the images in the game with those changes in mind.

Actually, I think the worlds of Kenshi and MoR have their similarities but Kenshi moves at a much faster pace... and is less naughty. But more gore and limb loss. The limb loss is, to me, one of the greatest highlights of Kenshi. Both MC and NPC can lose all 4 limbs and still "function" of sorts. And those limbs can be replaced by bionics.

The most difficult thing for pumping the NPS is intelligence.

Laika studied at the academy for 3 years. 120 intelligence did not gain. 114 only.

The rest of the skills grow cheerfully at the academy.

For pumping combat skills and discipline, you can put a guard.

Teachers pump skills well.

I pumped something myself. Mostly teachers. And the teachers pumped the rest. 3 teachers pump 12 people at a time.

But having played 1200 days, I came to the conclusion. The main combat party of 4 people needs to be pumped. The rest is much less important or not at all. It makes sense only if you do 18 children. But they grow for a long time. Even at x10 speed. Then you need a lot of pumped nannies.

Beauty and intelligence are important to a parent.

I spent over one game year pumping the "main" combat skills (training sessions) of both myself and my crew, while at the same time getting them pumped up in other skills with educators and still they could be better. I think that the skills we need ourselves there is no need to "train", as they can train alongside us (unless you want to prep a "new" squad member). Also, some NPCs might be worth taking on at later stages of the game because of unique gear and skills. I really love Clea Vallas. Great unique weapon and armour. Moved Doyle to guard duty.

But when it comes to combat, we really just need 4 good soldiers as with time we have enough money to get tendstims. Might at some point make sense to have 2 squads and let one rest (and heal), but then it would require twice the gear or a constant gear swapping tactic that would be very laborious.

Funny enough, in later game stages I might get a second squad, or at least give my main squad weaker weapons as it's mostly one shot, one kill and I need to keep some punks alive to dump at fort sera.

Regarding build, the wiki has the details: Attributes (NPCs) - MoR-Wiki

Specifically, female NPCs can go up one body type from their "genetic" base (so a Petite can become Normal,  a Curvy can become Plump, etc.), and if they've already gone up one, they can go back down to their base. No other build changes are possible currently.

This is determined entirely by weight. The numbers are in the wiki section I linked. If you have your options set to metric it's just their weight in kg, otherwise you would need to convert from pounds to kg. You can increase weight by making sure they end the day over-fed (either by setting their rations to 5R per day, or by leaving them at 3R and taking them to diner every day). A high strength indirectly contributes by automatically increasing their weight up to a certain point. The calculations for that are somewhere else on the wiki but personally I find it more reliable to just overfeed them. Just note that it's only a chance per day to increase their weight, and it can take a bit of time to build up their weight to the next tier, especially if you're trying to go from Curvy/Tough to Plump/Muscular since you need to get them up to 85kg

I can't quite put my finger on it, but I don't think all NPCs are equal in terms of food and weight management. Could be down to some of the attributes, like strength as you said.

The Helm sisters. One is always optimal on weight, the other is always "slightly" underweight. I even tried to take her out to eat, give chocolates and extra rations and haven't been able to get her weight up. Even when both were pregnant, they didn't gain weight.

Astrid is another case. I need to keep her on low rations, otherwise she will always go up in weight. At one stage she was even dangerously overweight. Could be "natural" to her, or it could from her job (Golden Dragon). Haven't quite figured it out yet. Astrid has gone (in description at least) from normal weight to slightly overweight to dangerously overweight.

Most of my people are set on 3 rations (they actually only consume 2 due to the skill of the pantry or chef staff... can't remember which).

I'll be honest, I didn't pay attention to the "body type" text or even the weight (the number) itself. I just checked the "inventory" part where there's the weight description.
