A wonderfully polished entry! I had a lot of fun digging ichor and levelling my dwarf abilities (glad I got double jump as my first buy!) The graphics and sounds were perfect and the gameplay was super engaging.
Just one thing I think, please lock the player out from buying "one buy only" items, ie. the jump/drone/pick-axe upgrades. The jump and drone upgrades I did presume was one-only, but the pick-axe I bought again as it seemed to indicate multi-upgrade from the text, however on first buy it was from 6 hits to 3, and the 2nd still still 3 (in case that was not intentional). But I'm nit-picking here, overall fantastic entry!
Thanks for the feedback! You're right about the "one purchase only items" and I should have probably told/ warned the player which upgrades were which. Thanks for playing my game!
Cool mining game, it was fun to get all this Ichor crystals up to the reserve, sad for the locals tho x) The mechanic is well polished and the progression feels good!
Congrats' :)
Interesting take on the plaformer game. Never played a platformer where you need to return back to the starting point. The graphics are nice and atmospheric, as is the music. I had some issues with the controls, though. Is there a double jump as the hints say? When I pressed space twice, nothing happened.
Hmm... you might have encountered a glitch where your double jump won't activate, though I can't seem to replicate it. Are you sure you bought that upgrade in the shop?
Anyways, thanks for playing! Your feedback means a lot!
This was excellent and felt like it could have been built in 1993. Excellent esthetic and design, both visual and sound design. Would absolutely play this again and again. Awesome.
I really liked the story at the beginning and the shop also looked super crisp. I didnt got why the shop shaked sometimes tho. Was really fun to play and use the crystals to upgrade my gear instead of giving it to my trillion dollar company employer!!!
Great little game loop and the graphics looked great. I was a little confused why I died, but like most things, was probably a skill issue.
This was a great little game! I liked the variability of the upgrades and had a blast mining the rocks and defending myself from the enemies
Neat game! I like the loop of getting crystals to power yourself up to get more crystals. I wish your hp was visible though, I was confused when I got to the spores area and died immediately. Regardless, I think this game has a solid framework to expand on if you decide to go in that direction :)
The art style looks so polished, I love it. I had fun playing. But I mysteriously died before my oxygen ran out? Are those glittering white pixels dangerous?
Ya, should have made that more clear but didn't have time lol. They're supposed to be spores and there's an upgrade that you can buy in the shop to make you immune to them. Thanks for playing!
super clean, I love the art
I really like the art, and it's nice to get a straight forward, almost arcadey vibe. I'm glad my first powerup was the double jump, my dwarf can hella fly with that XD
Excellent game, I'm not sure if it's just on my end but I had some minor performance issues. However, other than that this game is easily one of the best I have experienced so far in this jam!
I am very impressed with the cleanliness, fluidity and playability of this game. It could very well be a commercial indie game. Very fun and especially complex for a game jam. Really good job!
