Simple but effective! Very nice overall aesthetic as well. Quite satisfying to get them all lined up (when I can get it to happen!) I think the only thing I would say is I'd like to also use A and D as well for control because I'm weird like that. Or allow remapping but that's like next tier post-jam non-sense. XD

What's not to love about coordinated drunkenness? This was a nice little game, my troops were wily at first but we got it under control. It's really satisfying when there's a lull in the disorder and for a brief moment the whole squad is in a nice beautiful line. Then Pvt. Jeffers up front takes a left turn to vomit and it all goes to hell. So it goes.

Nice job on this!

Really enjoyed this one. I always find the premise of imperfect controls a lot of fun. putting it to marching band music and having the step cadence really added to the feel.

Minor personal annoyance, using left and right arrows to make the units go up or down on the screen was hard to think about.

It would be nice to have some more feedback for when they actually stumbled. Most of the time I wasn't sure if I was just over-steering

A interesting take on a balancing game! Kept wanting to make the soldiers march straight, but alas, tapping left and right like a madman was a better strategy. Nice touch to have different difficulty levels!

How can that many soldiers be drunk at the same time XD and is it normal to have better scores at higher difficulty levels?

This is a great foundation that you could build on! Was very fun to play some runs

Took me a bit to get used to it, but really great core mechanic. Would love to see level variation and obstacles, but super great start.

I like the game
I feel that with good level design, it could really shine.

Fun idea! I would have liked some sound effects or other things to emphasize the drunken-ness. As it stands I’m not sure I’d get that they were supposed to be drunk (as opposed to just clumsy or on a rough road) if I just played the game but hadn’t been prompted for it.

Regardless, nice choice of music and visual style for the concept!

It was definitely a bit of last-minute thematic masking. I think if I were to do it again, I’d have added some sort of sounds or visual indicators to support it.

Thank you for playing!

Haha, love that the march is actually synced to the beat, very satisfying.

Love the addition of John Philip Sousa! Brings back memories from my old school days.
Once I figured out that I needed to spam the arrow keys I got pretty far! Great fun little game

Funny idea!  I think it would be cool to keep escalating the situation, like have them in a war zone with artillery and tanks flying around and they have to drunkenly dodge it.

Fun! I got to 112 on hard.

With the marching music and footsteps, this could be turned into a rhythm game!

Love the little guys marching! Got 177 on hard, good strategy is to just triple tap arrow key and make them swivel back and forth.

I was playing this little game with a huge smile! I don't know why but it cracks me up! Congratulations! Perfect execution!

I’m glad it brought you a smile! The first time I set marching music over the soldiers while marching them around and showed my partner, we both cackled for like 10 minutes straight. Thanks for playing!
