I can see what you're trying to do here and with some more polishing this could be really unique. Currently, I feel there's a bit too much text and reliance on external worksheets. If those could be bundled in with the program instead of filling them out yourself, that would really make this shine. 

But I really love the idea of teaching game developers how to map out their story ideas, or not even game developers. This would be great for kids to get them into writing and being more creative.

I agree that it is a bit on the long-winded side.  It's probably suffering from an identity crisis--what age level should this be geared towards?  Right now it's probably packaged more as a highschool- or college-level micro course, but (as you've mentioned), it would probably be more useful for the child.  I will definitely take these lessons learned for future releases.
