Neat little game, I was horrible at first at finding the objects but a couple power ups later and I was flying. I like the progression and really just the chill nature of the game. With the nice music and chill gameplay, it was a really nice experience. Well done on putting this together!

I had played another minesweeper-esque game during the jam, and got really hung up on looking for clues as to how many items were near the tile I had clicked. Had to read through the comments to learn that it didn't exist :D. But overall cool idea and very well executed. The UI and graphics all felt very tight.
Love it. So nice and relaxing its a perfect game to just chill out to. Did manage to softlock myself though by closing the ingame window at some point wish i could remember what state the game was in when I did it all I know is I clicked the x on the upgrades panel and then i couldn't load into any of the levels after that.
Great game though, one of my favourites this jam. Keep up the awesome work!
Hi Meka, your take on the theme was exciting. The interface is quite complete and easy to understand, but I would say that the tones used give off a somewhat monotonous feel. I would probably prefer a less "corporate" interface for a longer game session, but I understand that this has 100% to do with the theme of your game, since the player is an employee of SatSnap Inc.
The upgrade system is fun, especially increasing the area of effect of the scans. At times I tried to identify if there was any hint on the map of where the elements would be. For example, near roads, etc. But I don't know if that's really how it works.
I had fun and played it for a good 10-15 minutes. Congratulations, I hope to see you in the next GWJs 😁
Hey CCadori,
thank you so much for playing and the great feedback. The placement of the objects is currently completly random and I think this is where my game lacks. You tend to just click randomly after a while. So with this experience I would probably redesign this system to be more puzzley/minesweeper-ish.
Love the chill vibes. All the sound effects were super satisfying and not annoying like acapella stuff can sometimes be. Made me want to keep playing til the end. Well done
This reminds me of one of those old flash games that all the siblings fight over the computer to play! What an addictive treat. I half expected to blow these villages to smithereens as the "bad guy" but I much prefer the peaceful tone
I really enjoyd it and it was very fun to listen those acapella while playing hahahah
I had a great time playing this game! I maxed everything out and was sad there wasn't any kind of win screen (that I could find at least). The one other thing that would have been nice (and still doable in the confines of a jam) might have just been more variation in the terrain you revealed, there was kind of a disconnect between you doing satellite imagery and revealing something like a treasure chest. It would be cool to reveal larger-scale things like mountains and rivers and stuff. Nice work!
A very chill game for the second monitor, I liked it a lot! Good visuals, a nice chill sound and a fun gameplay loop. Great work!
I really like the music for this and general idea was fun, although I admittedly just devolved into clicking randomly after a while. I feel like this concept would make more sense one of two ways. Either make it more logic-centric (and more minesweeper-like) by providing an indicator of how far away the nearest object is), or make it an idle game and have an automated scanning/revealing system (that could also potentially be upgraded).
Regardless, solid entry!
This was a fun game that absolutely dripped with style. The music was so calming and I didn't want to put it down. I didn't make it super far but I do think it would be cool to unlock more story through emails to uncover why this work is being done (If there are some of those that's awesome). Well done, and well made.
I spent more time on this than i am willing to admit. Something about the zen color theme, the faux OS GUI, the lowfi beats, and the simple yet addicting gameplay loop... Oh and it works perfectly on mobile too, which was how i played it!
I cleared all the way to map 6 lvl 7, but i didnt stay on more to see if there was an ultimate wincon.
Nonetheless, the amount of time i spent on this speaks for itself! Well done!!
I loved the presentation of the game! The little clock, the readme with the email from the boss, those were all really cool details.
I do think that the gameplay is a bit lacking. As far as I understood it, you just click around until you run out of clicks..? Maybe it's just not my type of game. You mentioned on the page that it's a bit like reverse minesweeper, but to be honest I don't really see it.
By the way, great work on the page! I like how it felt like it's a part of the game, with the same style and everything.
What an original take on the minesweeper formula! Now I want this on my PC and I totally see bank tellers around the world playing this while the line gets bigger.
Minor nitpick that didn't influence at all my rating was that I wanted to see what was installed on the PC when I clicked the "start menu" 😉.
One piece of feedback is that it could have more mechanics from minesweeper, like showing numbers (either to indicate the number of discoveries or the number of tiles without a discovery) and placing flags. It doesn't really matter in level 1 but on later levels it gets very tricky.
I really enjoyed this, the SFX were ~nice~. I kept falling into the gameplay loop and it was so satisfying to discover the little houses and trees. Super simple but flawless execution! Once I started making passive research points I felt unstoppable. You also struck a great balance with how much each upgrade gave you, it felt like a trickle, and a great one at that. Great job! You definitely accomplished what you set out to do on your UI 'Expedition' ;)
Super fun little game! I found myself just mindlessly going through more and more levels and lost track of time!
- (+) Loved the sounds! I’ll hear them in my sleep with how much I played.
- (+) Upgrades felt very rewarding, and they made me change how I played each level every time I upgraded
- (-) If I could add one thing, it would be to see how much RP I got whenever I finish a level, especially to compare how much RP I got from a level versus the next difficulty level.
Great job!
I didn't expect to see an incremental minesweeper game. :D Was a fun and upgrades felt impactful (except the early passive income ones)
Nice game! I think the UI is fun, but if I had one suggestion, you could use an AudioStreamRandomizer to have a pool of sounds to choose from when the level/map session finishes. I've found that even adding just a couple variations of the same sound with slightly different pitch can make a game feel nicer. Well done!
Good job, quite addictive clicking and uncovering the shroud.
