Very cool entry, and extremely slick with the mountains and forests popping into existence as you explore. Would love to see this expanded after the jam!

Fantastic! The art style is very cool, especially the map. I really loved how the map got populated and fleshed out as you explore each zone. It was really beautiful and immersive! I like that you are limited by supplies, I kept mine stocked up throughout the run by having a dedicated person. I got to the end and was victorious but not decisive. Not what we wanted but we dealt a blow to Metal that will take time to recover from...

Well done!

Very nice immersive music and art work. Good job !

Very nice ! Music, visuals and writing serve the ambiance very well. Assets appearing while exploring the area was a nice touch too.

Only thing that bugged me a bit was not to be able to move around the map with the mouse. At some point I had two characters on north east and two on west and it was a bit hard to select the zone on the south east, had to click on the small piece of the area that was over there. Maybe also being able to change the speed with keyboard could have been nice too to reduce movements of the mouse between the top right of the screen and the button to close event at the bottom.

Hi! I’m glad you enjoyed the game!

Thank you for the ideas! Please note that you can scroll/pan the map with a right-click and drag :)

The atmosphere was insane on this one, the little animation as you are discovering areas is great. I enjoyed the little excerpts on each region and the hand drawn assets. :)

Great work! The art is beautiful and the music sets a nice mood. This perfectly fits in with the theme.

Unfortunately, I ran into a bug at the end when I tried to send all four characters to the Industrial Zone. Two of them were at the camp and wouldn’t move at all, and I had to wait until I ran out of supplies. Perhaps the screenshot below will be helpful.

Thank you for your feedback! The music is from this pack: https://alkakrab.itch.io/free-fantasy-exploration-ambient-music-pack. It helps to set up an interesting, albeit unusual (for a post-apocalyptic setting), but nonetheless intriguing atmosphere.

The log is helpful, thank you once again!

very fun

This was well done. It fit the theme and felt like a realistic possible future. It was nice to see a post-apocalyptic setting that is not all about fighting. We enjoyed playing. One thing that would have been nice would be a way to send someone back to camp, or towards a location another team member is at, without needing to join the mission. I had someone off on their own and nothing to do while others finished up, and then the others had to wait for them to get there.

Thank you for playing and for your ideas! We are glad you’ve enjoyed it. Traveling freely around the map would indeed be useful. We wanted to allow joining the ongoing mission, but didn’t have time to add it. Probably, we can call our setting post-postapocalyptic :) We like the idea of new civilizations growing from the ashes and exploring the world. There could be many more things to do than just fighting in such a world.

Absolutely adored your overworld map! Stellar UI design and elements too. Would love to have known more about the characters!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! We wish we had time to develop the story and learn more about the characters ourselves. Maybe we will reiterate the story at another time :)

This blew me away on so many levels. Cool submission, and even though I ran out of supplies, will play again.

Very very cool, super atmospheric. I saw what I think was the final location, but just didn't make on supplies. Awesome take on the theme and cool little game.

Thank you for playing! We are glad you’ve enjoyed the game. We also had ‘drone threat’ mechanics in our minds. So that supplies wouldn’t be the only obstacle. However, there simply wasn’t enough time to fit both things.
