Very nice game, it captured me right from the entry scene! I particularly like the graphics and music! And kudos for the smooth camera controls.
On thing I would recommend is preventing boulder placement close to the ham, as one can easily win a level by just placing boulders around it.
Cool concept idea, really love the art too, animations and dialogues. Pretty fun! I got soft locked with one of the traps, but i restarted and played more, really cool!
Super cool concept, and loved the main character animation. He did trip out a couple times and move like 50+ blocks, but my obstacles were too much for him.
Really liked the visual style and the music!
It took me a bit to figure out exactly how it worked, but once I felt like I was ready for more the game soft locked on me.
I feel like there’s a great foundation here, though, so nice job!
I love the idea and concept. The visuals is great, I kinda like the arrangement of the map, nice choice of word font as well
I really liked this one. I enjoyed trying to guess where the guy would go and how I could stop him. Good job!
Really liked the look of your game and the path finding algorithm! Fun to play for a while. Well done
Thanks for checking it out Meka! I’ll certainly be giving SatSnap! a whirl asap and providing my feedback
A fun puzzle solving game! I finished it!! Its a cool feature to have the game auto detect when the npc is trapped.
One suggestion could be to stop showing the boulder image when there is no spare boulder left to be placed. It took me a while to figure out why i couldnt place the 2nd boulder during the tutorial.
Thanks for giving it a go!! Your feedback is invaluable and we will definitely be taking it into consideration. I heard from Ruff that your game is awesome and that we share a strikingly similar concept, so I’ll be trying it out for myself as soon as I get a chance
I had a fun time playing this once I got the hang of it. I forgot I was supposed to be the bad guy. I ran into a few bugs but was successfully able to thwart the explorer's journey. Why are they coming in my castle anyway? Cool little game, nice graphics and kudos for going isometric!
Appreciate you greatly for checking it out!! We ran out of time to get some features implemented that would help build onto the context. We’re aiming to finish up the game beyond this jam contest, so maybe check back later this week to relish in some evil twists 😎
I’m hyped to play and provide my input for Alien Takeover once I get time this week to dive into testing and voting on submissions!
I especially liked the visuals. Nice game :)
Fantastic game! The core idea is genuinely awesome, and I’d love to see it expanded further. I did run into a few bugs with traps and restarts, which were a bit frustrating - but it’s great that you're already aware of them. While the UI could use some polish, I was honestly impressed by how engaging the gameplay turned out to be. Great work on that!
If you get a chance, I’d really appreciate it if you could check out the game I worked on as well - I'd love to hear your thoughts!
We do have plans beyond the jam to expand it a tad further to encapsulate our full vision! 👀 definitely want to get the kinks worked out and put a bow on it. I’ll also be sure to play Origins of Magic at my earliest opportunity and let you know what I think! Expect some feedback from me by Wednesday at the very latest 👍
