This was such a sweet game but I had to play day 14 twice but I did make it to the end with my plant fully grown and healthy so oh well.

I will say that gaining subscribers from choosing to take care of the plant seems a little unfair because I can choose to both grow my plant and gain subs. I think making the youtube option gain twice as many subs would be more impactful for the story. And, this is just me being picky but having at least four songs to play would have broken up the days a bit more (I know it was a jam and you probably didn't have time but if you continue this game after add more songs to play, it becomes very repetitive).

Finally, having the player use their keyboard to play the music would be a lot better I think but I'm not sure how difficult that would be to program into the game.

Cute game though!

Glad you liked our game! Thank you for your thoughtful feedback.

The game actually has three paths. The one would lead to full plant growth, the second to full tube growth but a dead plant and then, there is a balance path, if you choose to take care of the Tube and plant equally. This leads to an ending which is difficult to achieve but the happiest.

I agree that the mini-game/keyboard can get monotonous. In the limited time we had, we added a 'skip' button for this reason.

I also agree with your suggestion regarding having more songs in there.

We initially had keyboard controls but they were difficult to use and would not be playable on a touch-device. Though this suggestion is also something we will look into post-jam.

I think I got the full grown plant ending. I was given a chance to go to the botany place or college program thingy. They said they liked my study of the plant. I also ended up getting 500 followers which is more than I have in real life so I felt awesome lol

Hello!!

Thanks a lot for your detailed feedback! One of the most detailed we ever received!

Now with 2nd cup of tea, I'm digesting the feedback about your suggestion for tracking the days separately. And it makes sense.

After the first cup of coffee, I realized, I could improve this mini-game/keyboard game a lot both to balance mobile and computer interactions, though this is as much that could be done in this limited time.

Sorry you ran into the bugs about sound and overlapping text (as noted below). This happens on some systems because of slight lag in loading of the text and images. This seems to be a limitation of the game engine we use (GDevelop). I think we can have some work around on this so that we dont disturb the player's experience.

Again, thanks a lot for your suggestions. We'll certainly use them.

This is very touching! Thank you for saying all the encouraging words!

I'm pumped and I loved your rose analogy! I never saw it that way!

Edit: Read your comment again. The way you have written your comments is really well structured. And I can visualize what you meant.

Thanks again!

I like when numbers go up :D Piano mechanic was good but bit confusing from the start BUT overall good.

Hey, thank you for playing the game. I want to improve the game so it'll be very useful if you tell me what you found confusing. E.g. the colors did not provide correct feedback. Or the keys were not tappable. Or the game was too fast.
