FPS tanks in base when lights are all turned on for AMD.

Don't know if anyone else has this problem but I've got a friend whose being introduced to VoTV and he's got an AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT. Spawning in he gets a fluctuating 90-120 FPS but when he gets to the base and turns on all the lights it tanks all the way down to 30fps. Tried messing with settings regarding lighting and cockroach limit, even turned them all completely off but nothing changed. Went to AMD Adrenalin and messed with the settings there, updated the drive (25.5.1) and even factory reset everything but nothing worked.

most lighting performance issues are caused by shadows, turn them down or to 0 to give you some frames back

That'a what I mean when I said we messed with the lighting settings. Turned the shadows all the way off and it didn't change anything.

The simple answer is to use no lights. Rely on your good friend Gas Lantern for light.

Alternatively, if you don't feel like living in medieval times for the rest of your existance, this mod exists: https://thunderstore.io/c/voices-of-the-void/p/SBM/SBM_Lights/

Cheers man, it definitely worked. A bit of a band-aid solution but it gives my pal ~60FPS so it helps. For anyone else having the same problem, do note it makes your base look a tad brighter and your fire extinguishers shoot out shit coloured foam. :>

even with an insanely good high-end amd GPU it's still causes insane FPS drops gotta love being able to play cyberpunk with Ray tracing but can't play the funny signal game with a few lights on

у меня на древнем amd a6 APU виснет на запуске обычной игры, хотя видео r5 m200 на 2 гига. может стоит и не пытатся запускать на ноуте ее?
