Well written and excellent atmosphere. I think I can't judge with the tools I have, but I least I can said how you can improve it, or at least to my eyes.
You can refine the key to skip and accelerate the dialogue, maybe to a touch key. So everything in the game has the same configuration and some text are hardly readble, so that can be improve to. Overall is a nice experience... Agree that I'm indeed a terrible leader, king or God all at the same time.

Interesting take on the theme: you went for story instead of action. The art is really awesome and vivid. The puzzles are intriguing, and I think subtext would make them even better. A nice game indeed!

In case you're going for a second play and wondering, "Oh no! I can't go all through intro again!", worry not! The intro doesn't appear for second or multiple playthrough. Go ahead and solve them
