I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that checked out my game. It was a blast (and super stressful at times) to make and I'm looking forward to working through V2. Good luck to you all in your rankings and I hope to see more from you all next year!
It reminded me of Ori in a way. I loved the yawn. Beautiful art, I can't believe they made all this in just 10 days. Great work .
GG!! I really enjoyed playing this!
The art of the game is really impressive. Loved playing it. loved the metroidvania game style.
Thats a really cool design. There were a few times I got collision locked between two enemies. All in all, great job!
Yeah I need to figure out a system to counteract some things like that. This was my first go at a combat system so there is a lot I am looking forward to fixing after the jam. Thanks for checking it out!
really incredible game. Well done!
nice game, the most polished so far, the art is also spot on. what i kink of notice though is I am lagging in your game. yeah i have a weak laptop and internet but this is the first game i noticed frame drops but i guess that can be overlooked since performance is not in the criteria but overall I enjoyed it.
kind* I should've checked it first first hehhehehe
Honestly, one of the most polished games I’ve played! The controls are spot on — it’s such a relief not having to mash the spacebar for double jumps. The atmosphere is fantastic. I really hope to see this game in the top 10!
Thank you so much!
Absolute cinema 👌, I would love your feedback on my Chad🗿 game too.
Thanks! And I checked it out earlier :-) I still think he needs a new coach that focuses on legs....
Graphics look so cool (graphics are not just sprites but the way you use it, also has net effect like illumination, particles, etc. just have that in mind, like a Good DJ, you would remember him not the other artist.) , the movement of the ninja is thigth, music and sound fx are clean and you can feel that peace that happens before the storm. This project is cool by something else, something that can transpass this concept of overpower, something from soul, more deeply. Just for me the combat was a little unfair. I feel like my attack was two slow and not too powerful. But this is just and opinion. What it is a bug it's when you die (A lot of times, more than I want to admit) and you press the X button, you go to a test room and even if you start and go to menu... just restar the same area. That just for the future. Nice job guy its a charming experience.
Thanks for the feedback and kind words! I'm taking all of this into account when I do my next versions. I was thinking of this as a prototype of a much larger project I'd like to undertake.
Curious what area you were sent to as I don't have any test areas. When you die you lose your weapon so you need to retrieve it from a sword shrine. During testing there were some rare edge cases where you'd fall through the map but I thought I'd fixed that. Any guidance on bug hunting would be greatly appreciated.
I tried to replicate the bug but was no luck. Where in the right, where is a chest and like 8 enemies I think, when I die I was able to keep moving everything was dark and red and when I appear I inmeditly drop down two a scene that everything was kinda plue and my player can use the sword not like in regular basis when I die... Maybe was just my, sorry for the troubles.
Thanks for following up! I may have an idea, it gives me a lead at least. Stuff is bound to have bugs when you make it in less than 9 days. I appreciate it a lot, and no troubles at all! I'd rather know of bugs than have to find them later :-)
Level arrangement is excellent and the flow between scenes/areas is very smooth. Definitely would play more of it well done!

amazing graphics well done!!!
GG! This game is great, also STUNNING graphics!
this game looks amazing
I liked the forest background and the animation of the characters in game . You did put a lot of effort in it . It is a wonderfull game .
Stunning graphics and well done a Metroidvania in such a short time.
Thanks for checking it out! Tilemapping has definitely been something that's been fun to learn and definitely speeds up the level design process (concept and core layout turns into usable design pretty quickly).
The controls gave us a bit of a challenge, but the graphics were absolutely on point!
Thanks for the feedback. I'll be reworking a lot of the controls after the jam and adding some customization, I sadly didn't have enough time to really fine tune everything as the last day was bug hunting primarily.
Very beautiful game, felt a tad undeveloped control wise, but keep going I'd love to see where this ends up
Thanks for checking it out! And yeah, I didn't have enough time for full polish but I hope to return to it after the jam and really clean everything up, then start on a massive expansion of the lore and environments.
