The story at the beginning and the ending were fun to see and the characters themselves work well together despite being so oddly different. The health on my end wasn't an issue and the damage I took only depleated the health bar but didn't kill me. Either way I found how to punch and grapple with the grappling being the best part of the experience besides the charming and simple story.

Presentation of the characters could be improved with some of the cutscenes but in the end the effect was conveyed well with a simple and easy to follow idea. Nice one!

"I dont know how to fly this thing" xD lmaoo

I wasnt the biggest fan of the grapple being movement direction based instead of mouse position based. but it was surprisingly intuitive. It was rare that the grapple missed a light or an object.

But itd be definitely better to have left click to attack instead of 'Q' . And speaking of attacks, you can kinda just skip all the fight :P.

The item picking and throwing mechanic wasnt very useful but fun to use. Id love to see more stuff like theres wall you can break by throwing stuff at it or something

Other than that, the art was gorgeous, the animations, and the overall visuals were amazing

The black and white cutscenes were also lovely to look at.

You really did a great job making this game :D

Hey, thanks for the honest feedback, I really appreciate it!

I do think the punching/objects could be used better, so the idea of having breakable walls and other things for Dot to interact with more frequently is very useful.

I designed this game to not need a mouse because of the fact I made this on a laptop, but I definitely did consider making it possible to aim the grapple. I'll definitely be testing out that idea in the future.

I'm also really glad you liked the art, I made it all myself. I actually was worried it was a weak point because I couldn't focus on it much. I'm planning on building this idea out and making a fuller version of it.

Once again, the feedback is greatly appreciated, as this is my first game jam.

I didnt even notice thatI didnt need a mouse to play this till now lmao. I kept spamming left click to punch due to muscle memory many times.

Also making a whole game without a mouse deserves more praise o7

And.. This was yourr FIRST GAME JAM!?!? Sheesh, I remember for my first jam, I made a game where you threw fish in a plate xD

You really did alot in these 3 days and the fact that it was your first jam just adds to that!

Id say you did a damn well job! 👏👏

I really like your characters and the controls/jumping were satisfying to use! I do wish there were in-game indicators for what can be grappled/picked up, as well as sounds. Overall I really liked it though!

Hey, thanks so much! Yeah, I wanted to add indicators for what could be grabbed, like a glowing outline or something along those lines, as well as sounds/music, but I simply ran out of time. I do want to build on this idea, though.
