The combat feels very polished since it has a lot of visual effects and sounds and the enemy variety is really good, I like the upgrade system and it's so cool it's based on the enemy abilities.

I agree with other comments that there's invisible things hitting me so you might check your hurtboxes, and also I would suggest to create a mechanic that's actually connected to the theme, not only the visuals or enemies but the mechanic should be connected! I didn't get the chance to rate on time but I hope the feedback helps you with future games!

I also died a couple times and didn't want to play the first level over again so I didn't finish the game, you may also add a way to fix that like checkpoints or something like that.

Overwall is a fun polished combat. Good job

great enemy variety. most games in jams usually can only pump out one or two enemies due to time constraints. having that many enemy variants is awesome (i hate the slimes)

the main advice id have to give is to give some iframes when you get hit or adjust the player's hurtbox a little. sometimes id just lose a shit ton of my hp without even realising

It was hard to avoid some ennemies attack because i was hurt by projectiles was weren't on me x)

I don't think enemies should shoot from behind the screen while I can't see them :D Nice art!

Thats a good suggestion! Having the attack radius a bit closer for the projectile enemies would probably make the first level much easier too! Thanks for playing!!
