Use of the limitation
The limitation was to create a game where communication is not straightforward. I incorporated this by letting players communicate with the aliens through emoji signals, interpreting meanings through short press, long press, double click, or no input.

A very interesting concept for a game, sadly I struggled a lot to figure out how to play it well. Having all the communication through one button made it hard to even get the reaction I wanted. I think if you made each response its own button it would actually go a long way in making this more fun. If each reaction is its own button it would put all the focus back on trying to understand the alien instead of struggling on which button press is needed. The concept of trying to understand the alien is fun, and I enjoyed trying to determine what it was saying, really cool idea.

Thank you for sharing, I hope you find the feedback helpful.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback! I really appreciate you taking the time to play my game and share your thoughts. I understand what you mean about the communication with one button being tricky. I’ll definitely consider adding separate buttons for each response if I develop the concept further. I’m glad you enjoyed trying to understand the alien’s language—it was meant to be a bit of a puzzle! Thanks again for your comment!

I am glad you appreciated the feedback, and I really do hope you develop the concept further. The core idea in your game is a great one, and trying to decipher the alien dialogue is a legitimately fun experience.
