Amazing idea! I loved the art, the music was nice, and the sound effects were spot on. The player felt a bit slow, and there wasn’t any indication for when the shield comes back online. Overall, great work!
The game has shield readiness indicators:
-Fly glows blue
-When the shield is ready, a sound is played
The game is a little quiet, if you can't hear the menu music in the game, turn up the volume a little

It's always great to see cool and creative ideas in game jams like this, and this game does not disappoint! I really enjoyed the fast-paced nature of the game, and how everything feels good to play. It's a very hard game at first, but when you learn all the attack patterns, it's really cool! Amazing job!!!

It looked and played nice! Unfortynately I was just too slow to get out the way of the first barrage or projectiles and died right when the shield went out. 😅Or was that the intent (thematically)?
