WOW! I loved the idea of making a fun game design of being educational regarding food. Creating an cat animated for the purpose is really cleaver, because most people are cats people. Wish you the best.

love how I can just chuck food at the cats—it’s such a fun and cozy game! It would be great if there were more healthy food options, though; most of it seems to damage the poor cats. T-T Overall, awesome work!

Needs a restart/retry button. Having to F5 to try again is not fun. I don't see a overpowered them here?

It is present, very visible if you are playing on a computer screen. :)
Yep, it's there, bottom left. Could use some light contour or some similar contrast tho, black on dark grey isn't too much visible and the red flashes only appear when you hover on it.
