Cohesive graphics and a metroidvania scenes... but this one has some issues with platformer, the jump of the player its too fast, maybe in other games doesn't matter but here is crucial to the gameplay, attack feels to slow, like a souls like but the enemies are to fast so yo need to wait to much to make the strike land properly. But the most important fix is the slop, I know the are hell, Hard to fix I have two ways to fix slopes, first: Sonic Character extension that make a better slopes handle, the other is make a cube then rotate that cube to match the diagonal you want so that do the trick and keep your game smooth like silk. Take care of this kind of detail because you have an awesome atmosphere, nice characters, and good mechanics that need some tweaks .

It was pretty hard hitting the enemies, but I loved the game's graphics. It reminds me of "Blasphemous" and "Castlevania."
It was a bit glitchy, but still playable and funny. We like it!
Great game, Nice artstyle and the audio is fantastic. Nice work!
Why isn't there a skip mode at the beginning? I died too much. X(
The graphics are insanely good here. One thing I noticed was I could attack and do other options during the starting text. Including pausing the starting text by accident. I wish I could skip the text or speed it up somehow. The attack hitbox it a little off too. Dying having the starting text happen again is weird. But other than that this is extremely solid graphically with the tone too. That's a lot of work and you should be very proud.
You can see all the hard work that went into this entry! I like the art style, and the color palette does a great job of translating the post-apocalyptic feeling. The music and SFX fit the game well. Despite the glitches, the game is fun to play, and you can see the potential. Awesome job!
Very nice graphics as others have commented very reminiscent of Castlevania, also i'd say Altered Beast and the a dozen other cool retro games of the top off my head. Character is very badass looking anime type as well which is cool.
The only bad mechanics i can bring up are the fighting which is a a bit busted also another bug someone mentioned i got knocked out level by a flying monk as well :(
I like your level layouts though very cool columns with overgrowth you have to jump across etc and as i mentioned most of the art is stunning.
Your story seemed very cool and mysterious as well.
Very interesting unique game so well done
P.S I'll have to try again at some stage to get past the flying monk part at some stage :) A save spot/starting point at the church would be nice to add maybe.
I played up to the boss frog, good one! Keep making more.
Just a suggestion: try zooming the camera out a bit. GG! 🔥
I hate you i'm die on the first spike xD. On a more serious note, it's a very good game, with well-chosen graphics and everything running smoothly. There are just a few bugs, such as hearing the character tap a sword or jump during the first dialogue. Finally, the dialogues are well managed. I like it :)
Adhering to the comments below, I am very happy to see the progress you did! I played the game at an early stage and this is way way better. Great job!
Looks like a very good game I couldn't play it because I was on my phone
Very atmospheric game!
But insteand of powerfull I felt very powerless with the slow attack, every enemy felt powerfull lol
They were very fast comapred to your attack and only being able to attack on the ground made you very vulnerable, especcially against flying enemies.
Also got pushed out of bounds being hit trying to avoid the flying enemies on the second stage 😆
But I really enjoyed the music, game theme and the bosses

Love the approach—it was a fun game! You could improve the text speed and make it appear only once; waiting 1-2 minutes after each death feels a bit long. The collision on the upward blocks could also use a little more refinement. Overall, you did great! I loved it, and it has a Castlevania-like vibe.
Very cool! similar to Castlevania. I had a hard time trying to climb using the pilars... hahaha. Authough I still have some points that you could have worked a little bit... if I may:
1 - Whenever you die, the text at the beggining starts again
2- At the begining, when the text is still apearing and the scene is totally black, you still able to use the comands (mouse and keyboard) and the sound of it is reproduced, authough we are not playing it yet.
3 - Some skeletons seems off, I mean: some of them can be reached by the attack, but sometimes their hitbox seems to be offset or something. The swords does not seems to cause any damage sometimes,
I really enjoy it when a game includes at least a minimal storyline, it instantly brings the world to life. However, there were a couple of things that slightly hurt the overall impression: first, the lore text at the beginning is very long and feels drawn out; second, for some reason, you can’t walk on sloped surfaces you have to jump instead.
