Could you share please your experience with music making? What app you use?

For the music I made for my games, I went and found a virtual violin, piano, etc. online, then went and made it so my computer would be able to record the sounds in Audacity, then played around with things until it was how I wanted it.

I use Magix Music Maker to mix tracks together. 

I used to create tracks using their sound pools - the software basically creates a track for you, and you can just tweak it. 

Right now there's so much good music at Itch.io that's free or doesn't cost much that I haven't made my own music in years.

 I mix the tracks, because they tend to be too short (the sounds become repetitive).  Music Maker has great features to fade one song into another.

I use fl studio and sometimes vegas pro and garageband to make all the sounds for my incredibox mods

I’m a music producer and composer with experience in game soundtracks, short films, and personal projects. I usually work in Ableton Live. For more cinematic or orchestral sounds, I often use Kontakt libraries and BBC Symphony Orchestra.

I use Pro Tools!

There are some terrific music asset packs available on Itch though, including mine if you fancy a look :P

I am not remotely an expert, but I use LMMS with a handful of different sound fonts.  LMMS is kind of overwhelming to start, though, so if you are an absolute beginner, Bosca Ceoil is an easy way to get started.

I am very very picky, so aftzer a very long search I hired a musician I am super happy with.

I'd highly recommend Reaper for music and sound design. It's an absolute powerhouse and it's affordable too. There is also a lot of tutorials for it on youtube, etc.
