Took me about 20 minutes(I had no experience in running pygame), but I finally got the game to run! It's a really nice little game, and I especially liked the visuals!
The gameplay is lacking a little bit of complexity--in my gameplay I usually just spammed/held the buttons. It could be interesting to add a stamina system to limit gameplays like mine(Tbh it's kind of cheating/cutting edge from my side). However, the visuals and audio are quite well done. Nicely polished.

(Also a little sidenote: In the section saying which operating system the file is executable for, check the windows box aswell! I used windows to do the same downloading process, and it worked!)
Thank you so much for the feedback! I definitely wanted to do a lot more with this game but with my lack of experience and time constraint-- I'm just glad I was able to submit it! After the jam is over I might want add more stuff like the stamina feature you proposed, and just making it a little more challenging in general. Thank you again :D
