Anything good about taking out great houses?

I just took out House Carozza and nothing... They just disappear and I can't find any consequences of it, good or bad. Not even a message screen after the assault. I had to stop playing right after I took them out so don't know if something happens in a few days or not. But it's just odd. Not even loot after it. They have a few million bucks and at least that money should be ours, no?

Should I just revert to a previous save and keep them as "allies"?

At this point I have Fort Sera and I'm working on beefing up the Rebel Base.

1. You can kill and give nothing.

2. You can invest with city control > 40. There will be 1,000 coins to bring + -.

Nothing more can be done. Other factions as well. Only invest. But not everyone will give money.

It makes little sense to start over. Then there is nowhere to spend money. They just dig in.

Yeah, kind of found out the hard way I lost that control share. It's a bit poorly designed on the game side (maybe it will be different at later stages of development). It would make sense for the MC to keep all (most, some??) of the money and also take over the "gang" and secure the control share. As it is, there is exactly no point in taking them out (unless you really have a grudge, which I did...lol).
