I enjoyed this. It took me a while to figure out the controls, but I eventually figured out how to damage enemies. I think it's because the brush isn't equipped by default and there's no swing animation. I got into the flow of damaging enemies and upgrading my powers, which was fun.

I think having an easy way to heal would be nice. I couldn't find one during my playthrough of it. And having the player's movement speed being below the enemy's speed made it a bit difficult at times, particularly when you're running from enemies while trying to damage them.

This is a good concept and really impressive for a game jam.

There would be animations and healing if I had time.  And I agree, the controls are difficult to understand without the tutorial.

Thanks for the review anyway, I really appreciate it!

Very interesting approach to the theme and object, I like it! The game was a bit confusing at first, but after figuring out the controls and the overflowing mechanic it was actually a pretty fun playthrough. You could definitely expand from this in the future if you wanted to, nice job!

That is all, have a great day :D

Thanks!

It's an interesting game and not bad at all. I had quite a fun when I understood how to play it. It's a bit tricky at first, especially having such abrupts game over and many controls at once, but feels smooth and well crafted. Could be expanded!

Well done :)

Your game was honestly really fun!  I really liked the dash idea and switching between brush modes  super creative! ✨

The gameplay just needs a bit of fine tuning and you’ll be all set. Great job and keep it up! 💪

Yeah, I didn't have enough time to polish it. Thanks for playing though!

would be so nice to see this polished

Developer

Yeah, I didn't have enough time to polish it. I'll update you if I decide to finish it (which is unlikely, but might happen). Thanks for playing!

Really fun game! Having to juggle the four kinds of overflow along with the different brushes felt pretty unique, and I like how the overflow limits force you to buy upgrades rather than sitting on a giant pile of money.

Thanks for playing very much!

Just like someone else already mentioned, it takes a moment to figure out what you're supposed to do.

After that, it’s easy to play and flows quite nicely. The music is catchy and fits well.
The visuals are basic, but they make the game feel accessible.
I think with a bit more time, the execution of this game could turn out really well!

Developer

Yeah, I didn't really have enough time to implement all of my ideas. Thanks for playing though!
