Interesting kinda puzzle game. People realy helped a lot by killing each other :D

Didnt expect plot-twist in end tho. It was fun!

Developer(+1)

The people killing each-other used to be a bug but i embraced it as a feature :)
glad you liked the store tho!

Fun game!

Really cool interpretation of the prerequisite, and holy this writing is fire 🔥🔥

For the future, I’d love the ability to move a bit faster without a time gap between moves

Good work!

Thanks for the comment! And I'm really glad you had fun.
I'm definitely considering improving improving the game after the jam ends because of its potential!!

The game concept is really nice, and the game made fun. We also liked the story and writing a lot! The game was just too easy with no turn/step limit, but overall it was pretty nice.

Developer

Yeah, I do acknowledge the move/spell limit idea; but it's just that the time wasn't enough and i feared accidentally making impossible levels without testing or making the game too hard, and I prioritized the fun aspect over difficulty in general. Still glad you had fun!

Fun game! I think the balancing was a bit off: the dash kind of allows you to get anywhere you need to be without using any of the other spells. A limit on how many steps you can take in each level and some slightly more fluid controls would have put this game on a whole new level. Still, a very nice experience with very fun dialogue!

Definitely something we would do if we had more time, thank you for the feedback! (and plz rate the game :))

Fun game. I like the concept and the presentation is decent. The controls feel a little sluggish, but that's really my only complain. Good work and thanks for submitting!

Developer

Hope you were at least satisfied with the experience!

I didnt expected the game to be that fun. I dont usually play this kind of grid based games but it was fun to do. The only thing I could tell you is that you could add some more sounds for the actions or for the dialogues but it was great!

Developer

Yeah I really wish we had enough time to polish it, would have definitely added more

The concept is really cool.

The arrows showing where the ppl will be going is a very good idea, allows us to strategize before hand instead of trying to brute force our way to them

But they dont seem to be running away from us mostly

I do have 1 complaint, Why cant I look change the direction Im looking at 😭
I have to use 2 moves, first go up and then come down to look downwards

And the different spells are really cool but it feels like we are too over powered, just the dash is enough to complete the whole game

Itd be fun if we had limited moves aswell. So that each mis step actually had a consequence

We'd need to use the best combination of spells to kill as many people as efficiently as possible

Maybe it could be explained in lore that the scythe of the reaper is too heavy for us and we cant move alot while weilding it or smthing like that

Other than that the artstyle is really cool too

I get that the 2 day limit was affected the level design but u got a real good idea, Id love to see more levels/limitations implemented here!

You did an amazing job!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Also the direction thingy for the dahs was intentional to not make it too overpowered considering it's price; I even put enough space in the second level to be able to dash out, acknowledging it. Also I'm sorry for any inconviiniences that the game might have had, because, as you said, the time wasn't enough.
Still hope you had fun!

I definitely had fun!

The game was actually good, just a bit too easy.

You did an amazing job! :)

the art is cute ! and i like the background song

the different moves/spells are a fun idea, but i didn't actually have to use them since everything is accessible with just walking/sprinting, there wasn't a time or step limit to force me to use them
but then again there's no difference to how many souls you end the day with so i don't need to save them either

not sure if there's more endings or something i can do beyond the Twist, and this is personal but the text sound going off for each letter got quite irritating with a lot of text for me

i feel like this could be really fun if given more time to flesh out the mechanics and come up with unique stages, good job on making it, hope you all had fun !!

Thanks for commenting! And i do acknowledge the flaws you gave which mainly came from the game being rushed and 2 days not being enough to deliver the idea our team had in mind. But still happy you enjoyed the game <3
