My name is Shimmy, Pixel Artist with professional experience since 2020, currently seeking new collaboration opportunities on game projects.

My Specialty:

•Pixel Art for Top-Down Games: I specialize in creating environments and tilesets, perfect for RPGs, adventure games, and similar genres.

•Asset Creation: I have experience with character/creature sprites, icons, and UI elements.

•Technical Proficiency: Along tileset creating, i'm able to work on bitmasking for autotiling, and assemble maps in game engines, providing level design and any other technical needs related.

Relevant Experience:

•Serving as Lead Pixel Artist on a project since october 2023, defining the game’s environmental art style—creating exterior and interior assets, UI elements, and map designs in Tiled. Additional responsibilities included refining general sprites and reviewing team artwork, all under the product owner’s creative direction.

•Have published assets on itch.io and experience in commercial projects.

•Hold a background in Computer Engineering and experience as a Game Design and Pixel Art instructor.

What I'm Looking For:

•Part-time or freelance projects.

•Collaborations on indie games, especially top-down RPGs or similar styles.
