It's been quite a while since I last communicated here. I haven't been idle, been working full time in the games industry and it's left me with little time to contribute to passion projects.
Anyone who is following the games industry is no doubt aware of the absolutely dire amount of layoffs and studio closures that have been occurring on a near weekly basis since 2023. Several weeks ago I experienced my first layoff as a result of corporate restructuring.
As I decide what to do next, I've often looked fondly on my time working in the adult games industry. If it were possible, I would like to make that pivot to focus in this space full time. I've made a Bluesky account you can use to follow and interact with me if you'd like and I'm already working on prototypes to share with you here.
I'm unsure if a Patreon is the right way to go for me right now, but I would love some suggestions in the comments if you have any ideas on what I can do to make it easier for an audience to support me and if you have suggestions of what you'd like to see in this space.

Just added you on bluesky, would love to chat about this with you. Sorry to hear you got hit by the layoffs though, it's been a mega rough time for any A devs and even indies. But it's exciting to hear that you wanna make something in the nsfw space again!
Patreon and Subscribestar are always good ways to go, but better keeping low profile in those pages since the adult content censorship is rising , at least in the main pages profiles. You also could try of an fansly, I think some guys here use at least one of those platforms with no problems as far as I know. Last. I really like your minigame of the lesbian wizards who want to top in more ways than just power, you got a raw diamond there, just expand an polish the concept would be amazing.
First of all, you have my condolences! I know what it feels like. Last year I was layed off twice from underpaid and underappreciated software development jobs and funny enough, I had at least once thought about pivoting to making adult games myself, just because it seems like there is more appreciation for them, but I could be wrong.
Since I'm not working in the industry, I don't really have any experience and likely can't help you.
What worries me the most is the whole self-employment part, it's quite the change.
