good job Zoek. cool concept for a game and Im sure setting up all the cameras and sets took a lot of effort. It did take me a few goes to understand what I was supposed to be doing but once I got it I liked it. Lots of ideas you could implement that would make it super cool if you keep working on it after jam.
This was a cool concept for the theme! I had some trouble getting lost in the building flipping between the cameras. I had fun trying it out!
I enjoyed this game. I had a bit of trouble in the beginning to understand I was the blue guy, but I guess I should have read the instructions.
The game design was really great! It was fun to click off the baddies, and the gameplay really played well with the theme of the jam.
thank you alot!
Very cool idea, nicely done! You even pulled a classic "let an ally show a new danger by dying", I chuckled!
I did manage to rescue the hostage on the second run. I must say I didn't always know what the police officer's way of entry would be, and in more than one stage I was suprised for him to turn up where he did. Maybe a small 2D map of the room in one corner of the screen, showing the direction of approach, would help here.
I'd also think about adding gun shots when you and the baddies shoot. They just suddenly disappear - the sound might help alleviate that.
Thank you for the feedback!
That was definitely on my to do list but sadly run out of time for the jam! :)
Hope you had fun! :)
