Use of the limitation
Every level has it's own sets of rules, and the player needs to figure them out to proceed. Nothing ever remains exactly the same.

Loved my time with this one. I was bummed when I ran out of levels, but that's a testament to the fun factor here. Good work!
Cool concept! I thought it was just a basic platformer at first but you kept making interesting twists on the idea. I laughed when I was playing as the door and found out and I could kill the player by stepping on them, kind of gives me baba is you vibes. I got stuck on a later level because I didn't realize you could dash unfortunately :(
Thanks. Baba was one of my three inspirations (I wanna be the guy and kaizo mario were the other 2). The dash mechanic ended up in a weird spot because I only really designed the last level around it. Every other level you could get through without dashing, but it did help you beat some in easier ways.
I was afraid something like that could happen tho. But hey, at least I did warn people about reading the controls, so I can absolve myself of some of the blame (not really)
pretty cool
Perfect use of the limitation. Only problem I have is it doesn't always feel like my fault when I lose. Mainly with the bouncing off enemies as sometimes it works and other time I die.
Yeah. I didn't have enough time to perfect the collisions with enemies. If you hit them at the right angle even tho it might feel like you would bounce on them they'll kill you still. If I ever work more on the game in the future I'll definitely fix it.
Started the game and immediately fell in love with the character. Gameplay is very smooth and the catchy music fits well. Great job!
Thanks. The character was the first thing I designed. Wanted to give it as much personality as possible while keeping it constrained to just 8x8. Guess I did a good job on that one.
I love this game! Clever use of the limitation and I enjoyed playing it!
Really fun could see this being made into a full game. Some levels/sections can be difficult other than that nice job.
Yeah, I had some issues making the difficulty right. I wanted to take some inspiration from stuff like Kaizo Mario, so it was hard to not make the levels too hard. If I could change some thing I'd probably move some of the harder levels to later in the game.
This is a great game I love the concept and the how unpredictable it is
I loved the twists on every level, it was really enjoyable!
