I liked the art style and the different abilities the mushrooms gave you, very cool! As far as gameplay, it did feel a bit tedious going back and forth to get mushrooms then build the house, it would have been cool if you could have unlocked workers or something once you had reached a certain point in the game to speed up the process, because as it stands, the game kinda felt like the starting point of a tycoon or simulator type of game. i know its a game jam tho, and you don't have all the time in the world, so i get it. neat game tho, overall.

Oooh, that is actually a pretty interesting idea!!! I agree it ends up feeling a bit repetitive after a while. The helpers/upgrades you mentioned are a good way to improve gameplay ^_^ Thank you for your comment!!

I really enjoyed figuring out all the mushroom effects, and I think it was clever that the movement speed was linked to the speed at which the arrow moves in the mushroom pickup minigame.
The art is also really nice!

Very cute art, enjoyed experimenting with the mushrooms, though I'm not sure what benefits the sleepy ones give me 🤔

Thank you!!! Some mushrooms have downsides as well 😶 The slowshroom makes you slow, but it also slows down the minigame! It's not useful to run around, but it might be useful for collecting other mushrooms 💪🏻

I enjoyed the general mood of the game supported by the nicely crafted visuals. What definitely stood out to me was the quick time event style interaction mechanic that I hadn't seen like this before. And the memorable character art. Great job!

Thank you so much for such kind words!! I love these quick time events, so I was excited to try implementing them in my games for the first time =] I'm glad you like it, thanks!!!
