Felt like I was just clicking upgrades. With a little added strategy and mechanics, I think I would've really enjoyed it! Even as is, the "feel" hooked me, and props for that

This is a fun idler. Could be pretty interesting with a bit more diversity. Like others I ended up soft locked.

I particularly like the nice touch with the mouse icon changing.

I'm glad you noticed! It was definitely one of those details I cared a lot about.

Reward hacking =)

i was a little annoyed that i could soft brick the progression by increasing power beyond capacity. it would be ok with some ui to help visualize this. also the power bar doesn't make sense (unless it is shared but i don't think it is ?).

still had to go and see the end, so it's a success in my books.

hooray! You made it! yes, it is reward hacking~ You get it, and hope you like it~

The upgrade issue was indeed problematic. I'm planning to redesign the upgrade system to fix this – making sure players never end up in a situation where power request exceeds capacity and breaks the progression.

The power bar is shared – all discharge points draw charge from it. So when power request exceeds capacity, all discharge points are unable to charge properly. I think it might work better to give each discharge point its own individual power bar, with a unified charging speed across them.

Thank you again for taking the time to play and share your opinions! :)

Very cute idle game. I love watching the chain lightning effect! Played it until my guy stopped cleaning. I think he broke, so I couldn’t watch the story scene :/

I like the insidious undertone of increasing pollution to maximize our own pollution removal. Very reminiscent of the infinite paperclip machine, hehe

Thank you for playing! I hope you enjoyed it~

You’re right - the little story at the end was indeed inspired by the Infinite Paperclip Machine.

Thank you again for your kind words and support~

Fun little idle/tower defence game, and the story element at 48 dust/s added a nice depth to the message. Very satisfying adjusting discharge points and seeing things play out, and the zap sfx was strangely hypnotic after a while. I agree with the confusion others have mentioned here, and I feel like it would be better if Static Discharge Power and Energy Capacity were combined into a single upgrade, so you could upgrade your damage at the cost of slower charge times, before upgrading your energy recharge to balance it out again. Overall, a very charming game.

Thank you for playing! I'm glad you made it to the final story - I hope you enjoyed it~

I really wish I could have seen your suggestions before the final submission; they're all great and very helpful.

Thank you again for taking the time to deeply experience this game~

Too busy collecting dust, so I hope I can hit research items during the game pause. Nicely done for the game!

I liked the concept, though I ran into similar issues as have already been pointed out. Some of the stats were not immediately clear to their effect. Aside from that the audio and visuals were consistent and fitting and created a nice vibe for a fun little game.

Actually, if you reach 48 dust/s, you can unlock a little story scene~

The simplest nice tower defence you need!

unfortunately discharges bugged out on energy 10/9 and stopped discharging :(

Developer

Thanks for playing! Hope you like it~

I will definitely fix that bug after this jam.

Interesting concept and fun to watch zap! zap! zap! once you understand how to increase the various stats. I also had my dots stopping their firing but increasing the energy capacity and recharge rate made them start again. Not super clear what static discharge power... is it the strength of the zapper?

Developer

Thanks for playing~

Its because discharge points(red thingies) cosume power to charge, so you need to make sure "static discharge power" never above "energy capacity"~

may be i need to stop upgrade if static discharge power will over capacity.

static discharge power is the discharge points' energy cosume amount and the max energy release to deal damage, so yes, it is the strength of the zapper~

Seems fun to play, but my red thingies stop shooting after a while and I'm not sure what to do. Happened 2 times already. Maybe a bug? Also a full screen option would be nice, as the upgrade buttons overlap with the Itch buttons otherwise.
