Really fun stuff! Would be nice to have an indication of what is going to be spawned so I could strategize, but super fun! Bg music is perfect

I like the audio and the concept. I have some constructive criticism that is hopefully welcome:

  1. The problem with the 3rd level is that the earlier levels fail to teach the player the necessary mechanics. It’s (effectively) the first time you see a blue dot with an arrow become a red dot, and the first time you have to make sure two red dots collide with each other, and the first time you have to intentionally destroy yourself on a red dot.
  2. The slowdown while aiming looks cool, but it feels like I’m being tested more on my aim than my problem-solving skills.

I agree with both points. The levels were kind of done in a rush and weren't really playtested. I will definitely rework them after the jam to gradually introduce the concepts you mentioned. I intended aiming to be part of the challenge, but I guess the combination of both puzzle & aiming is also a bit too much for people.

I'm also one of those level 3 failures =(

Balancing puzzle games is hard. Audio is nice tho !

I'm not good at puzzle game, the space key helps a lot :>

Nice. Ramps up a bit too fast maybe. Some frustration on browser playing in frame: mouse leaving edge not handled amazingly.

Developer

Yes, this is a difficult problem to solve, as we can't really force a users mouse to stay within the bounds of the game on web

Great idea! I didn’t manage to beat anything beyond level 2, but that’s because I’m not much of a puzzle gamer, not your fault! I looove the “ploPP” sound, incredibly satisfying! I imagine this could potentially all look suuuuupper pretty if you decided to at particles at some point :)

Quite tricky! The particles hiding inside each other unpredictably I think is what makes levels difficult on first approach, requiring trial and error to learn what needs to be hit in what order, and even then predicting intersections of different trajectories is hard. It's satisfying when things work out such that multiple particles annihilate at the same time.

Very cool game. Had no problems progressing but a longer indicator for the direction would have been nice since I had problems aiming sometimes. Well done :)

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I agree about the longer indicator

Cool idea, wasn’t able to beat level 3 though. Appreciate the addition of an editor - good use of Egui!

This is a nice game that ramps up difficulty a lot, I wasn't able to get past the third level

I like the idea, and the fact that you've created a level editor is impressive in the context of a game jam. It's very nice.

Very cool concept! I wasn't able to progress after a few levels. Some more easing into the difficulty would have been nice.
