I could definitely spend a lot of time playing this. Heaps of fun.

Lovely artwork :D As others have noted, the UI is not super clear and a speedup would be nice. But you know that already, so let’s focus on other things ;)
I quite liked the idea of holding the mouse to start the level. Makes it feel like you’re winding this big big machine up, cranking the handles manually :D I also liked how the game has two functional dimension and how you can rotate everything! A worse game would just have had dedicated vertical and horizontal objects, but you went the extra mile! I looooove the artstyle, everything is super quirky. The descriptions also written in a sharp and fun way.
I think you’re successful in eliminating Turing completeness, as I really don’t see a way for the machine to not halt, given that you have a finite amount of objects each with a finite amount of possible actions per round. Maybe there’s some fun glitch to get an infinite loop ;)
Loved the game. The concept is cool and the poking and arranging is fun.
Really cool concept, felt like setting up a Rube Goldberg machine and then getting to watch it all play out. Very fun experimenting with each new piece and working out synergies and engines with the others. I think it could benefit from a speed-up button, as it can get pretty lengthy and repetitive later on, but I really appreciate the ability to rearrange everything freely so you can try out different layouts and ideas without worrying!
Nice idea and fits the theme well. I had a hard time understand what each piece was doing, why some were triggering more than once etc. The audio was pleasantly fitting.
Yes that needed more UI to help the user. Ran out of time =(
In the meantime you can check the characters in the shop before buying them. The idea is that each character has some amount of activations (all have 3) per turn. They get activated when poked or pushed.
Thanks for your kind word about audio, and for giving it try.
This was really fun!
Agree with s-azzles about the art, love the sprites, especially the little gun-fighter dude.
Cool game! Our submissions have some similar gameplay concepts. I also had issues with loading assets close to the deadline, but related to fonts in bevy_rich_text3d. Assets on the web are often a pain point in Bevy projects in my experience, so you’re not alone there. I think it’s beneficial to build for web early and often with CI/CD on these projects to make sure that your application builds for the web throughout. Nice job on finishing a complete game in a week, it’s quite an achievement.
