This is very fun. I would've played more if there was more. The pre-placed bombs should show their range when you hover them.

Great job this slays

Great mechanic that both fits the theme and allows for replayability making me spend a good while trying to make my solution more efficient. 3 staring the later levels offers a good bit of challenge too.

Lovely simple puzzle game. There were quite a few rooms where I was like “hold up, this is literally impossible” only to then go “ooOOOOOOOHHH! that’s how it works!” and I also had a few instances of “just one more level, then I’ll stop” only to do level after level. Great entry!
I just wished the optional goals were visible from the get-go :)

This is a fun set of puzzles. I do wish the resolution phase had moved a bit faster or I could have skipped watching the explosions happen and just move to the end screen.

Simple and to the point, that's exactly what we want to see in game jams. Puzzles are not too hard, but there si still the added challenge to get all stars. Added points for music and sound effects.

Good submission

Very cool and simple mechanic! I love it! The puzzles are well thought out and scale well. Overall very solid entry.

The only thing I would add is an easier way to remove/move bombs, maybe using right click. And maybe some visual indicators at the end of the level of what went wrong when you fail.

It would be really nice to be able to quickly retry the same level again, and to see the goals update immediately when the level is finished. I thought I'd come back to this one later to grab the last 5 stars or so I missed, but was bummed to see my progress wasn't saved.

Thank you for playing!

You’re absolutely right - it’s frustrating when your progress isn’t saved, making it hard to come back and complete the game later.

I’m happy to share that in v0.1.1, I’ve added an automatic save feature that preserves your clear status! This should make it much more enjoyable to return and collect those last few stars you missed :)

Super fun, I love the gradual introduction of new mechanics and watching long chains explode is very satisfying!

Couple of notes:

  • being able to see which objectives you completed when you complete the level would save a restart-ESC-levelselect loop, if you're going for perfect scores
  • seeing which squares will be affected by hovering over a placed bomb would be a nice learning tool in the first few levels

Soundtrack and crisp art style were great too :)

Thank you so much for playing!

As you pointed out, there was definitely room for improvement of the level completion flow. I’m happy to let you know that in v0.1.2, I’ve added a feature that shows you which missions you’ve completed right after clearing a level! I hope you’ll like this improvement.

Regarding the bomb impact preview functionality, I wasn’t able to implement it immediately, but I’ve added it to my list of features for future updates.

Thanks a lot for your valuable feedback!

A nice puzzle and clear interpretation of the theme! I enjoyed it a lot.
