Be generous by sharing your life-giving light to the spirits of the forest. The more you give, the more the lantern's powers will dwindle.

The amount of cleverness in this puzzle platformer is fantastic, especially with the light stuff. Astounding level design and aesthetics! I get Animal Well, Ori, and Celeste vibes from playing this.

There was some occasional backtracking, but otherwise the gameplay was smooth and I felt like progress was being made at every step. A good choice to make it relatively easy and accessible, as even the failures were quick to backtrack. The music was also calm and inquisitive, fitting the dim yet vibrant atmosphere.

This is one of the most complete, fun experiences in this event, and I could certainly see it being a prize winner.

Really great platformer! I had a lot of fun completing each level! The art and the mechanics are really well done, and the way that the light our little fox character carries reveals more of the level is a really nice touch!

Woah, such a stunning game! I enjoyed how it gradually introduced new mechanics and different ways of using them - leaving the light behind to be able to walk through the shadows was my favourite. Launching from lantern to lantern was a lot of fun. The atmosphere and audio are excellent and the character is absolutely adorable. I liked the subtle story. Fantastic work!

The art, music and lighting blend so well to create such a great atmosphere, and the reflection mechanic is a nifty little addition! The jumping felt a little slow/not very powerful to me but other than that a great game!

Phenomenal experience - there was something very ephemeral and cohesive about Inari. This is meant as a compliment (because I played Maplestory so much): it reminds me of the nostalgic Mushroom Shrine. The music is so on point.

That being said, would you consider toning down the colors of the spirit realm? Or some way of allowing the eyes to rest on the map--I feel like both worlds are competing for attention equally, and my eyes get tired after 5-6 levels. In addition, it would be nice if you show where the current level is at the beginning of a new level. Lastly, I felt like the jumping distance out of the lanterns seem a bit short compared to how far apart you place them.

Overall, very solid work for the jam!

The ethereal soundtrack compliments the art style really well. Interesting mechanics keep it fresh.
