I like your game idea and the 3D environment, good concepts! Unfortunately, I had some trouble with the controls, probably because I haven't played first person view for a while. I kept bumping into people, especially when turning around. You wrote yourself that the game is in an early stage - 3D is always challenging, I would say. It's a promising start, and I would only suggest to keep polishing.
I've updated the development build (not released yet) so it fixes the mouse movement problem, hides the mouse cursor and locks it so that should help with the movement.
Also changed the Friends and Family behaviour so they stay about 2-3 meters away from the player and each other, so they don't overcrowd and block the player.
Also updated the font to a cleaner handwriting style unfortunately does not have hearts for O so Goto pub is less loved.
My game scored terribly on graphics could you give any feedback on the graphics please?
Well, my game scored mediocre on graphics, so I'm surely not an expert. And that's while I used professionally made, commercial graphic assets for most of my game. Have you checked the games with the highest scores in the graphics category?
I definitely don't want to discourage you; quite the opposite, I applaud your efforts. A few years ago, I wanted to create a 3D shooter game - didn't achieve to release anything. 3D with real people in first person view is the most difficult environment for graphics, in my opinion. 2025, we're looking at hyper-realistic images, motion capture, AI supported workflows; expectations can be very high. On the other hand, pixel graphics can be appreciated well if they achieve a consistent and polished style.
For the graphics in your game, my first suggestion would be to add basic animations to people. In general, you want to avoid the uncanny valley, and this includes movement as well. It's not necessary to aim for high resolution but does the game look natural to you when you step away a few meters from the screen? Do lighting and shadows fit? Buildings might look all the same but living beings have variation, also idle movement. As I wrote before, the most important next step to me is to keep polishing the game. Good luck!
It’s an interesting concept for a survival game. Reminded me of some games I played on Roblox. It could be developed into an enjoyable experience. I somehow finished ‘get lig’ on the first time. I have to check the dictionary to understand what it was :) The second time I got blocked by an NPC in a kitchen, we both got stuck, and there was no way to move back or forth.
Maybe you can give a player a basic weapon from the start?
I'm going to have to find a better handwritten font it's Liz.
It is a UK Zombie simulation so the only weapons people would have would be household implements or what they could make from scratch.
Hint: check the back garden shed.
Good point on the NPC's getting in the way I can change their proximity, so they stay a couple of meters away.

I did enjoy this for what it has. You had it written on the project page but the turning did lock up for me the whole time so I had to spin the other way to just turn around quite a lot which was a little jarring as well as me not being able to figure out how to get my mouse cursor off the screen.
I think the goals are a little too vague as there’s no way to know who is mom and lig, the pub was obvious enough and the “relax” made me think I had to go back home so I wandered everywhere and it just said I won randomly so I was like “huh, cool”.
Overall I feel this does have promise if the gameplay process is polished more. Good submission :)
Cheers I'll fix the controller issues only I dd a late build and my PC is very slow at building so just released it.
I was thinking of adding clues e.g. street names and addresses on notes and maybe photos as well showing the Mum and Liz outside their buildings where you will find them.
Maybe a street map.
Was working on adding the cars as driveable so there could be a satnav tom tom go in each car the Renault and the Jaguar.
I plan on adding a wave system where the zombies surround the player more and waves of them attack the PUB.

Sure, I’m just gonna drop all of what I caught regardless of how much I feel it’s an issue just cuz you’re asking, and this is just from memory and from the screenshots. I’d say the game is stylised which is great, but the whole vibe is still quite flat in a sense wrt the shading and the entire map seems like the same thing just in slightly different shapes, etc. And the shadows don’t really match the objects casting the shadows.
I feel there is a lot of “emptiness” in feeling when traversing the city, particle systems may help like leaves falling etc to add a particular vibe. Maybe particular lighting like if the game is in dawn or dusk to add some dynamic feel to it (not saying a day/night cycle). Having the enemies more animated may help with having the game feel less flat, perhaps even a shader around characters etc so they’re outlined in black might be cool? That’s just an idea though, not sure how that’d look with the rest of the game if nothing else is outlined.
Wrt lighting it might be generally easier to set the game as night so you can have better dynamic lighting such as from streetlights etc. Might have an easier time than doing proper lighting for the day time but I’ve never done a 3d game that’s in the daylight before so I’m just going off the dome here.
The UI is also barebones in the sense where it definitely works but I’m not sure it fits the theme you’re going for? The checklist part is fine more like the way it’s shown.
If there’s anything in particular you want me to give feedback on wrt the graphics, lemme know.
Thank you for the great feedback.
