Very Nice! Only feedback I would have is 1. Make the player move slower when they reload, to add a bit more difficulty, 2.Increase the brightness at night time, or add more torches, 3. Add music.
Overall, one of my favorites in the jam so far, as far as fun level! And I'm halfway through playing all of them, so good job!
Thanks for your comments. All your points are valid.
I didn't consider slowing down the player when reloading, however as the waves progress the zombies get faster, have more health and there are more of them. It is an unwinnable game so eventually you will be overwhelmed.
The weather is random, so you could have a dark night time if the weather is bad, which would cause low moon light. I should have added a point light to the player and tweaked the weather settings a bit.
The weather system already had ambient sounds. I didn't have the music/assets or the time to put together an adaptive music system.
Thanks for your suggestions!
Cool game, got to the dark level, then I was overwhelmed lol!
Thanks. It has a day/night cycle so it will lighten up again. The random weather can vary the light a bit at night time as well.
Good ol' classic mowing down zombie hordes! I couldn't ADS, but gameplay and zombies popping felt good.
Thank you. I didn't put ADS in because I wanted a more 'Rambo' shooting feel to it (i.e. no aiming, just shoot). If I had more time I would have replaced the default AK-47 with something that didn't have a sight.
ooh gotcha , i misunderstood the button controls, mouse was general aiming not ADS, my bad.
