Very cute game.

Would be really nice if you could right click to delete placed items / deselect the held item.

I really like the concept that you are a cat building contraptions to make cups of tea :P

thank you for playing!

Very fun short game. I think being able to place the pipes on the pipes is a bit game breaking for the difficulty

thanks for playing!

This looks really great and is fun to play! A small point is that it would be nice if the placement/removal of items were just a bit easier, but the game looks really nice and it's satisfying when you get the particles in the cup. Great job!

I love this kind of puzzle game, and this one was well made. It was great how many different mechanics you managed to fit in with the pipes, the fans, and having to deal with multiple ingredients crossing over. The controls were a little unintuitive, as I was expecting R for rotate and right click to deselect the current piece, but otherwise it all played very well. Well done!

Cute cat.

unfortunately zen master did not get to the final build oin time…as well as dozen other things :D

Aww, this is so cute! Everything about this looks like it was made with such love! It’s also great fun just looking at the little particles splash around.

There is a bit of jank, but nothing game breaking. The only thing I wish is that the screen didn’t pause when the level was won. I want to see my crazy machine put the entire glass of water in the cup until it overflows!

seems like something worth putting in settings. Thanks for playing!

Developer

Thanks. By jank do you mean framerate glitches or other performance issues? The simulation stopping for the victory screen is my fault, it was set to continue until I decided it should pause, in retrospect it would have been fun if it didn't.

Oh no worries, nothing like glitches or performance issues! Just some things that can be polished, like being able to place pipes in unaligned ways, the button text overflowing, etc.
Very minor stuff, nothing that interferes meaningfully with the gameplay :)

I was hoping someone would make an "Incredible machine" like game for this jam, and you did not disappoint! The setting and the name are also fun.

thank you for playing!

This was really fun! great level design, fun puzzle pieces (like the pipes) and a cute theme. nice work!

controls are a bit rough, but always fun to do some of those rube golberg contraptions.

Developer

I'm glad it was fun. Can you say more about what you didn't like in the controls? Was it the part selection? The rotation/flipping?

Submitted

took me a little while to see it was Q and E (of course one should read the f'ing manual). then those pipes were always looking the wrong direction. also for deletion, maybe a right click would be nice.

This doesn't detract too much though, and i have some of these annoyances in my game too.... never enough time for complete polish =)

Developer

Yeah, makes sense. We didn't do a good job of explaining the key controls in the game (or offering on screen alternatives). Right click to delete is a good idea, thanks.

physics based, nice!

Developer

Avian makes it pretty easy to do this kind of physics, very pleasant to use.
